Today the friend came again. I didn't say anything as my daughter clearly enjoyed her presence. And they weren't making too much noise anyway. They seemed very close. My daughter couldn't invite friends before because of my husband, but now she can. I didn't hear them talking today. But when she left it certainly felt strange.
