It was quiet, except for the soft sounds of papers being shuffled and people whispering. Ashok sat on one side with his lawyer. His face was serious, showing no emotion. On the other hand, Shagun sat with her lawyer. She looked confident too talking to her lawyer in a serious manner. In another part of the room, Karishma and Haseena sat close together. Karishma held Haseena's hand tightly, her grip strong. Karishma looked scared, but Haseena was calm, her face showing strength Haseena's presence seemed to be the only thing helping Karishma stay calm, and Karishma's tight hold on her hand showed how much she needed support.
Suddenly, the door to the courtroom opened, and everyone stood up quickly. The judge entered, as he walked to his seat. The room now felt even more serious, with all eyes on the judge.
Karishma still held Haseena's hand tightly as her nerves increased, but Haseena gave her hand a gentle squeeze to reassure her. The judge sat down, his face serious as he looked at the people in the room. The silence returned, and everyone waited for him to speak.
