"Did you find them?!" Aiden asked, hoping they knew the location of their parents.
"We only found your mother." Grape replied solemnly, gently hugging Rina back. "As we thought, She's in Prison City, she's safe for now, locked up, but safe."
"When do we leave?!" Aiden demanded. "The longer we wait, something can happen, or she could be moved!"
"Let us go inside." Teddy answered, gesturing for the group to enter. "We must discuss the situation in more depth, before we go rushing into Prison City. We will rescue her, but we must be smart about how."
"That's not all of it." Jr. added as the group walked through the hallway, heading towards the common area. "From what I gathered up in the capital, they're preparing for war."
"I agree." Grape added as she sat on a cushion. "Prison City also appeared to be preparing for some sort of war. I give it a week, maybe a little more, before they head to Premus."
"Why would they attack Premus?" Rina asked.
"Cladon has always wanted to get rid of Premus." Squishy commented. "This is the battle we've been training for."
"That's good!" Aiden declared excitedly. "When they head out, that would be the best time for us to break mom out!"
"I agree." Teddy stated, scratching at his gray beard. "However, we must warn Loson."
"Who is that?" Aiden asked.
"Loson is the King of Premus." Squishy added.
"What about daddy?" Rina questioned, worried why they could not find him.
"Cladon must have him nearby." Teddy replied. "It's the only thing that makes sense with the attack on Aiden and the fact Jr. and Arlington were unable to find him."
"So, what do we do?" Aiden asked.
"What would you do Aiden?" Teddy asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Hmmm." Aiden said, scratching his head as he thought what his next move would be. "How far are we from Prison City?"
"If we all travel as a group, almost a week." Squishy replied.
"I know they will be looking for Rina, Ellie and me. So, however we travel, the three of us would have to stay out of sight as long as possible." Aiden stated. "I'm assuming they're after you too, Teddy?"
"Yes." Teddy replied, listening to Aiden put together all the pieces.
"So that means all four of us would have to stay hidden. Our best chance with the increased patrols, would be some sort of covered wagon." Aiden added. "That would also slow our trip a lot but would make the timing closer for when we anticipate them leaving for the war."
"Very good." Teddy said. "I agree with that. Grape, Squishy, get some rest, once the sun sets, I want you two to head to Toogal and get us a covered wagon big enough for the four of us to ride in the back."
"What do we do until they return?" Aiden asked.
"Train." Teddy answered. "It will take them at least two days to get to Toogal and meet us at the base of the mountain. We have a day and a half before we leave. Until then, Arlington, Jr., you two will be sparring with Aiden. I will continue to train Rina."
Arlington, Jr., and Aiden headed for the arena as Squishy and Grape left to go rest for the day. The two eyed Aiden as they observed a difference in the boy from the last time they had seen him.
"He's confident." Arlington whispered to Jr. "He seems different."
"He is different." Jr. whispered back.
