The next day, Naruto strolled through the village, humming a little tune as he made his way to his scheduled rendezvous. He wasn't just feeling good, he was feeling great. Why? Because today was the day he, Naruto Uzumaki, would begin training his first-ever student. And who was this lucky individual? None other than the Hokage's grandson, Konohamaru. The kid had guts, sure, but man, did he have a lot to learn. But that was fine. Naruto was up to the challenge.
As he approached their meeting spot, Konohamaru was already bouncing on the balls of his feet, his small face lit up with excitement. The moment he spotted Naruto, he dashed over, nearly tripping over his own feet in the process.
"Naruto! Naruto! You're really gonna train me today, right?" Konohamaru's eyes were wide with anticipation, practically sparkling with the energy of a thousand suns.
Naruto smirked, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned down to the kid's level. "You bet, squirt. I've decided I'm gonna be your sensei. By the time I'm done with you, you'll be a proper ninja. None of this 'Young Lord' crap. You're gonna earn your name the right way."
Konohamaru's face split into a huge grin, and he jumped up, pumping his fist in the air. "Yesss! Thank you, Naruto-sensei!"
Let's get started. First up, shurikenjutsu!" Naruto
The two made their way to a nearby training ground, where several targets were already set up. Naruto handed Konohamaru a set of kunai and shuriken, watching as the boy fumbled a bit with the weapons. Naruto chuckled, shaking his head.
"Alright, first thing's first," Naruto said, stepping behind Konohamaru and adjusting his grip on the kunai. "You're holding this thing like it's a damn soup spoon. You gotta grip it tight, but not too tight. You want control, not a death grip, got it?"
Konohamaru nodded eagerly, trying to adjust his grip as Naruto showed him. "Like this?"
"Yeah, like that! And when you throw, don't just chuck it like you're tossing trash. You gotta put some muscle into it, make it count!" Naruto grinned, miming a throwing motion. "Think of it like... throwing a pie at someone's face. You want it to splat just right!"
Konohamaru giggled at the image and threw his kunai, managing to hit the edge of the target. Naruto gave him a thumbs-up. "Not bad, kid! A few more like that, and you'll be hitting bullseyes in no time. Just keep practicing, and don't be afraid to throw a little harder."
As Konohamaru practiced, Naruto leaned back against a tree, addressing the audience in his head. "So you guys thought I was just gonna let this kid off easy and just teach him the sexy jutsu? Nah, this is serious business. But hey, who says serious can't be fun, right?"
Once Konohamaru had thrown enough shuriken and kunai to satisfy Naruto's standards (and a few that ended up in questionable places, including a stray tree branch and an unfortunate passing bird), Naruto decided it was time to move on to the next stage of training.
"Alright, time for some taijutsu!" Naruto announced, motioning for Konohamaru to step up. "Come at me, kid. Let's see what you've got."
Konohamaru charged forward with all the grace of a hyperactive squirrel, swinging wildly at Naruto, who effortlessly dodged each punch and kick. Naruto moved like a breeze, just out of reach, making it look easy as he evaded the boy's attacks.
"You call that a punch?" Naruto taunted with a grin, side-stepping a clumsy kick. "Come on, put some spirit into it! You gotta want it! Imagine you're trying to punch me for stealing your last bowl of ramen, now that's motivation!"
Konohamaru huffed, trying harder, but Naruto was too quick, and every time the boy got too close, Naruto casually swatted him away with a light slap to the head. The slaps weren't painful, but they were enough to send Konohamaru stumbling back, growing more frustrated with each miss.
