8. The visit to carnival

Author's pov

They all reached their hotel. All the four girls were staying in one room and the four boys were staying in the room just infront of theirs room. The hotel was big and beautiful.

They all went to their respective rooms put down their luggage and then after locking the door assembled in a place where their teacher told them to join after getting ready.
"So all the children are here." The teacher said after taking attendance. "So children, get inside the bus, we are going to the carnival that the locals arrange every year to celebrate the start of autumn."

She gave the information about the place and the carnival during the whole bus journey. Finally they reached there." Children you all have to come here near the bus before 6 till then enjoy" instructed teacher.

Both boys and girls group stood together at a place.
"Caterpillar, look there, a balloon shooting game. Let's do a competition of who will win the game." Ansh said to Anika and she nodded in response. They both ran towards the shop and started paying for the game.

Then aarav's voice came, " I think we should also compete in that ring throwing game shortstuff, it will be fun." They both also ran towards the game stall. Meanwhile komal saw a soap bubble and ran after it, she kept running unaware that she is lost.

When ishi and Aarav went away to play game Krish got a idea that he can also compete with komal in a game and that's how he can spend time with her. When he looked around to find her he acknowledged that komal went somewhere and may be lost. His eyes widened in fear, " Rihaan and ashi stay together, komal went somewhere and I am going to find her you both stay together and don't separate from each other okay. We will meet at the bus." Saying this he ran away leaving both of them together.

Anika's pov

We both reached at the game stall. There were six round boards on the wall and they were rotating. This game has six levels. If a person wins all six of them he will get a teddy as a reward and if someone wins five he will get all his money back. No reward for other four levels. The game was hard. Last three levels were rotating very fast and the balloons attached to it were small and were made of thick rubber.

"100 rupees for this sir" the stall manager told. We both payed him.

"Ladies first" ansh said. I took the loaded gun, aimed at the balloon in first level and shot it, similarly I easily shot out the balloons of second and third level. Now the main game starts. The board in fourth level was rotating comparatively fast but I managed to aim at it and shot it out. Now the fifth level, it had really small balloon and was rotating very fast. I closed my eyes and accidentally shot. I opened the eyes and found out that I burst the balloon" yayyy" I exclaimed in joy " you girls are lucky" ansh said .

I got overconfident. I closed my eyes and again shoot the gun at the balloon in sixth level. Oh no it missed. "Congratulations mam, here your money." The game manager said. Now it was ansh's turn.

Ansh's pov

Caterpillar got till fifth level by luck but she did not knew that I tricked her. I am a champion of this game. I played this game a lot in carnivals and now I am a master. I can easily clear all the levels. I took the gun in my hands and popped away all the balloons in a swift motion. She was looking at me in shock. "How did you do that" she asked. Stall manager came and gave me the teddy bear. It was big.

I turned towards her. She was looking at me with pleading eyes. She was looking like a kid. She was wearing a black and white check skirt. White high necked top and a oversized jacket. She was looking like a kid in this outfit. She was looking beautiful.
