"Lost in the ashes, forever searching for home."

Harin stood there with tears in her eyes watching her world collapse right infront of her eyes. What was left for her in this cruel world? These 'dreadful humans' who are thirsty for eachother's blood?

She was left all alone in this world. What happened that her world shattered right before her sight? In blink of an eye her family's laughter turned to eternal silence.

Flashback

Yoon Junho poked his head into Yoon Harin's room, a cheerful grin spread across his face,"Hey sis! Lunch is ready downstairs and Mom made your favourite - bibimbap."

Harin still fuming from her earlier encounter with Junho, looked up, her heart softening from Junho's gentle interruption.

"Get downstairs a little quick miss, I'm starving." Junho added, his eyes sparkling with great enthusiasm.

Harin couldn't help but soft smile at Junho's infectious energy, her annoyance slowly fading,"okay, okay. I'm coming."

Junho beamed and backed out of the room, yelling from outside,"Your royal lunch spot is waiting, don't keep me waiting!"

Harin's mouth curved into a soft smile, setting her book aside she murmured in a low tone,"Those who never had a brother like mine are truly missing out on a treasure."

She went downstairs and found her brother seated on the dining table," Oh you're here, come take a seat till mom sets the table."

Harin gazed at her brother with an unreadable expression, "Is there something on my...face?" Junho questioned hesitantly while shifting uncomfortably on his seat.

Harin burst out laughing at her brother's face,"That face was meme worthy." She teased, chuckling and playfully mocking him.

Junho's face turned red with embarrassment. "Shut up! It's not that funny!"

Harin laughed harder. "Oh, it totally is! You look like a constipated rabbit!"

Junho's expression turned slightly angry. "Harin, come on."

Harin's laughter subsided, and she ruffled his hair. "Sorry Junho. I was just kidding."

"Alright kids, let's eat!" Harin's mother said as she took her seat on dining table.

"But mom where's dad?" Junho asked out of curiosity.
"I haven't seen him since morning." Harin added.

"He's out for some serious report he have recently gotten."
"I see, but when he'll be back?" Harin asked, taking a bite of her food.

"He said he'll call me but I haven't heard from him yet."
Her mother said, a hint of concern in her voice.

"He might be very busy." Harin responded at her mother's remark.

As they continued eating, they heard shouting and yelling from outside.

"Am I hearing correctly, or it's just my imagination?" Junho questioned, looking concerned after hearing the voices.

"Let me check ,what's going on?" Harin's mother said getting up from her seat and heading towards the door.

As Harin and Junho followed their mother to the door, they were met with a sea of angry faces. Protestors swarmed the front yard, shouting slogans and waving signs. But what caught Harin's attention was the venomous language directed at her father, who wasn't even present.
