Chapter One: A Saiyan and A Vampire

I'll never forget it. Three years ago. I was just nine years old. I found myself fighting against someone I never thought existed in all my life. Sure, I heard stories about Vampires from Gohan, but I never thought they were real...You know? My name is Yuji. Yuji Yasuke. I'm a saiyan, like Gohan, his father Goku, Vegeta and his son Trunks. I was born on August 14th, 1995. My hometown was the city of Alexiville.

Everyone has their opinion about Alexiville, but to me, this place was paradise. It had all my favorite stores and it was where I watched all my favorite television shows like Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack. I went to Alexiville elementary and, due to my hobbies and Gohan being smarter than me, I excelled to the 5th grade by the time I turned 8. One year later, on my birthday, around 10:30 at night, I thought it would be cool to see what the world was like afterdark.

From my point of view, it was amazing. It was like I was sleepwalking in a dream world where everyone didn't exist. It was just me, enjoying myself, allowing my laughter to echo into the night.

Sadly, it was cut short when I heard a man yell, "PLEASE! DON'T SUCK MY BLOOD! PLEASE-AUGH...!!!" Don't suck my blood? I never heard anyone saying something like that. My Saiyan instincts took over. A notion that I wished I never had. Via flying, I landed beside a dark alleyway. As I started walking along the alleyway, I saw two figures. One was a grown man and...He looked like he was...Dead. His predator? You wouldn't believe me if I told you...

Yuji Yasuke, a Saiyan hybrid that was half Saiyan, half Yasukian. Yasukians were metahumans that co-existed with the Saiyans that had survived the explosion on Planet Vegeta done by the space tyrant Frieza. It was how Yuji's father, Grayson Yasuke met and fell in love with a Saiyan woman named Kiyane. Together, they had two girls before Yuji was born. Micah and Ayame Yasuke were Yuji's older sisters. They were born in different eras. Micah was born on July 29th, 1979 and Ayame was born on November 11th, 1988.

Yuji's family lived in the city of Alexiville, the home of some Saiyans and Yasukians, although the majority of the city's population were mostly humans.

One night, on Yuji's birthday, Yuji decided to sneak out of the house and explore the city Alexiville after the lights went out and when people were asleep. Swinging from streetlight to streetlight, the laughter of the young hybrid oddly didn't wake up any of the citizens of Alexiville. Suddenly, in mid-swing, Yuji hears someone screaming and pleading not to have their blood sucked out of their body. The scream notified Yuji that the plea from the man, whoever he was, went unheard as his scream led Yuji to his location. The Alleyway.

Now Alexiville was no stranger to crime or what have you. However, people didn't commit too much crime because the laws on earth were set to be fair to everyone around the world. Yuji lands beside the alleyway and approaches two figures. One, who was the man, was already dead. The second figure that held the deceased man by his jacket collar was a teenage girl with long silver hair and wore a raven black dress. "HEY!" Yuji shouts at the girl, "Let'em go! He's already dead!" There was something about this teenage girl that shook every nerve in Yuji's body. Part of him was scared, but the other part was curious as to what was going on and who was this girl that killed this man.

"No Shit Sherlock," The girl's tone was chilling and dominant, "I made sure he died a coward's death. That oughta teach him to try to have his way with me." That wasn't true at all. In fact, this girl manipulated this man before leading into an alleyway to suck on his blood.

"That's not true!" Said Yuji, "He didn't try to do anything like that! You manipulated him!"

The girl dropped the man's body and turned around. This teenage girl was tall, at least 5'11, which made her 2 feet taller than Yuji Yasuke. Licking the blood off of her fingers, the girl said, "Oh Damn, you're smarter than you look. Tell me, do you want a medal for being a smartass?" Despite this girl's demeanor, she was highly beautiful. Her hourglass body was a figure any human woman would kill for. "If I were you," She continued, "I'd get outta here and head home to mommy. Besides, something tells me that you're not built to bond with the darkness of the night."
