As Silvia drove to town she couldn't just help but feel the weight of her sister's constant errands. But Lia didn't try to let it ruin her mood, as simple as that, she'd pick up the dress, drive back home, and do the things she needed to do, like do her homework and study.

When she arrived at the tailor shop in town, an older woman appeared and handed Lia the exquisite dress.

"Hello miss, are you the one picking up the dress for Miss Liberty Peterson?", the lady questioned.

"Well yes, I am the person picking the dress up," I said, trying to sound enthusiastic.

"Ok, we'll have a blessed day, miss," the lady at the counter said.
As soon as Silvia left the tailor shop, she put the garment bag in the car. And looked at her watch, and she noticed that she had some time to spare. So she decided to go to that bookstore she hadn't been in forever. She walked into the store with nice music playing inside the store. She looked around the aisles, walking towards the fiction section, which was her favorite section. Her eyes wandered past all the book titles that moved with her gaze, finally her eyes being drawn by one book in particular. She was just about to look at it when Betsy had to show up and ruin everything.
Betsey was one of Libby's friends, and she was probably one of the meanest girls that ever existed at ridgeway for that matter. Silvia thought to herself," this would be the last place I'd thought I see Betsey Meyers. What is she even doing at a bookstore anyway?"
"Well well well, if it isn't the infamous Silvia Peterson, roaming the bookstore," Betsey sarcastically said.
Lia had a loss for words, and stuttered," I-I, I was just looking at some books that's all!" She said.
"Yeah, sure you were, you know you're not allowed to be out anywhere, you know your parent's rules." Betsey deviously said.
"But I had to pick up a dress for my sister and I had some spare time on my hands," said Silvia.
"And why should I believe you, Saliva?," Betsey rudely said, while knocking down all the books for Silvia to clean up.

Neil who was working diligently in the bookstore, noticed the sudden commotion. His girlfriend, Betsy, who had walked to the fiction section.
He moved towards the area where books were scattered all over the floor. There, amidst the chaos, stood a girl who seemed almost ethereal. She had long, golden sandy blonde hair that reached her bust, slightly wavy yet still straight. Her eyes were a mesmerizing shade of blue, almost grey, like ice. And she looked like she was about to cry. "What had just happened, he thought to himself?"

He respectfully pulled Betsy out of the way and approached the blonde girl with the grey eyes. Placing his hands gently on her shoulders, he asked, "Are you okay?" His voice was soft, filled with concern.

The girl hesitated, her voice trembling as she stuttered, "I'm really s-sorry, but I have to go." She glanced at her watch, her eyes welling up with tears. Before Neil could react, she slipped out of his grasp and dashed out of the bookstore, crying her eyes out. Neil hurried after her, calling out, "Miss, I didn't get your name!"
