Chapter 3.
As I explained what had happened, I did so in detail. How the class giggled immaturely, how being a new student is already nerve racking in highschool.
The principal was beginning to take notes, which was extremely odd.
Before I could finnish why I was sent, he asked me why I got sent down to the office. I told him I had sworn at the class.
He shook his head, "Ahh, I understand." He released me back to class and made an agreement not to tell my mother if I did a him a favor.
I agreed, he told me to come before school because its a "private manner."
I just shrugged it off, I figured I would worry about it when it came to be an issue.
As I walked into class, I noticed immediately Adam had moved into the seat beside where mine had been. I could feel my face turning beat red when everyone's eyeballs were laid on me. I hobbled to my desk trying to seem normal. I plopped down, feeling like a circus act for the class.
"Let's continue," she said. Then she began talking importantly to herself and the nerds at the front of class. I got lost in my thoughts about what just occurred. Then Adam put a note on my desk.
"Thank you, so much. You didn't have to do that though. How much detention did I earn you?/:"
"None." I said, "YOU didn't do anything, I did. And it doesn't matter anyways. The principal would let me off the hook as long as I do some favor for him tomorrow before school."
"That sick bastard!"
"What?! You don't think..."
He gave me a look when he read that. And wrote back, "That's the only thing possible. Let me come with you."
I thought of the best way possible to get out of this conversation. "Hey, the bell's about to ring. Text me tonight & well talk?"
We exchange numbers, that was the smartest decision. I think I've made in a while.
