Me, Adi and Tara are popping Popcorn In the kitchen getting ready for Movie night. I was texting my girlfriend Amber when the phone rung. That phone never rings but I didn't think anything about it.
Tara walks over and answers the phone.

A : are you still coming over tonight? I miss you.
M : I'll be over in a few, the phone that normally doesn't ring is ringing. Gotta make sure it's nothing bad.
A : okay, see you in a few. Be safe I love you 💗
M : I love you too 🫶🏻

"Hello?" Tara says and a voice is heard on the other side. "Hello, is Christina there?" The guy asks. "No, she's not available. May take a message." Tara adds walking around the kitchen to where me and adi were standing.
I look over at adi and look at her confused. "Tara, what's happening?" I ask concerned and she just puts her hand up signaling for me to shut up. I just pull a face and look back at the done popcorn.
In the distance I can hear Tara speaking to this man with a weird voice. "And I will do exactly that Charlie, once you tell me what kind of group we're talking about. Is it a-a-a-n-a-a." She spits out and I look down at my phone and text Amber.

M : hey, I might be running a bit late there's some weird dude on the phone talking about a group.
A : oh it's okay, what do you mean a weird guy?"
M : his voice sounds different. Like he Has some type of voice changer.
A : that's weird, I'm gonna get ready stay safe love you.
M : i love you too, be there in about an hour.

I place my phone down and look over at where Tara was but she's not there. "Tara?!" I say panicking and I look around and adi isn't here either. "Shit." I mumble and I hear faint voices, I follow them and Tara and adi are at the front door.
