Stress

I have taken notice of Miguels odd behavior this past few weeks

He has been.. well.. cold and mean

But of course i know how hard it is.. i mean he's a teenage actor and a media influencer and to top things off he's a college student despite his young age

I understand he's stressed and i just really want to help him ease his nerves

It was another day of me trying to help him out by making small talks and asking him how his day was

"So how was your day so far?" I asked with a warm smile

He muttered out a small and quiet 'Fine' Before going back to eating

"That's nice to hear."

He hummed

"So-"

"Can you please be quiet?!" He snapped
as he glared at me

'Oh..' i thought to myself

I mumbled a small 'sorry' before standing up, grabbing the dirty dishes and placed them on the sink

I watched as Miguel got up annoyedly

His actions are a little more rough than usual

I sighed before turning back to the dirty dishes and washed them

After i was done i placed them on a drying rack and washed my hands

Knowing he was mad at me i didn't follow him and instead decided to bake something for him

'It'll help him destress.. i hope.' i thought to myself again

I immediately searched up a good recipe and got to work

I took out all the ingredients needed for the recipe while watching the video thoroughly and making sure not to miss any specific details

After i watched the steps i immediately followed what she did, constantly rewinding to the parts i wasn't sure about

After following all the measurements and mixing here and there it was time to bake

I placed the fresh tray of uncooked cookies into the pre-heated oven

I cleaned some of the mess up and plopped down onto the couch tiredly

Turning on the TV and relaxing on the couch i heard a groan coming from upstairs

'Miguel..' i thought before focusing my attention back to the TV

After finally settling on a movie to watch i made myself comfortable on the couch
while i watched

Halfway through the movie there was a 'Ding!' heard

I immediately scrambled to my feet and scurried my way to the kitchen

Quickly putting on my oven mittens i carefully opened up the oven and extracted the freshly baked cookies from it

Gently placing the freshly baked cookies on a cooling rack while turning on the fans to help in cooling the cookies down quicker

I got out the stuffs for decorating like frosting and food coloring
before placing them neatly on the counter

I inhaled a sharp breath before getting back to work

I carefully piped out the frosting into flower shapes

A hour passed by with me working hard to make the cupcakes look pretty as possible

After i finished i backed away and admired my work with a contented grin
