01 / another weird scholarship kid
Lee Na-ri continued to pick at her nails, the black nail polish slowly beginning to chip off in the process. It was a bad habit of hers but Na-ri couldn't seem to stop. Forced to be at this first semester ceremony whatever, Na-ri was hoping that it wouldn't take very long so she could get back to more important things. But hearing whispers about a new scholarship student meant that this wasn't going to be wrapped up in a minute like she so desperately hoped.
Na-ri herself was a scholarship student and several months ago, she had been introduced in a similar fashion. Like all of the other scholarship kids, Na-ri had immediately been pushed around and ostracized - not only because she was poor but because she dressed differently. She had purple hair and dressed in all black, even with her uniform. She had a nose piercing and ears piercings, and you'd often catch the girl smoking on campus from time to time.
But Na-ri was here to study and become a ballerina, seeing as the school had an excellent ballet program. Na-ri fought back against the bullying and eventually, she was left alone. No one wanted to get in trouble with some poor scholarship kid. Although they talked behind her back and gave her dirty looks from time to time, Na-ri was basically left on her own.
