Chapter 7

The weekend had come by so slow. But soon it was Saturday and I was heading to the movies. I walked in the movie theater lobby and didn't see Lucy anywhere. When I saw her she was coming in with two other girls and two other guys.

"Hi Dylan," Lucy said.

"Hey, who are they?" I said confused.

"Oh, this is Jake, and Thomas and this is Marcia, and Julie." She said. "Julie is dating Jake and I am dating Thomas."

I just stood there blank unable to think or speak.

"I wanted to introduce you to Marcia, she has been wondering about you."

I looked at Marcia. I didn't know who she was. She wasn't in any of my classes and I didn't see her around school at all.

"Hi Dylan," Marcia said.

Marcia had brown hair and brown eyes like me. Her eyes sparkled though.

"Hi," I replied.

"Well um, lets go see the movie," Lucy interrupted.

"Yeah, sure," I said. The other boys were staring at me like I was some weirdo.

I got popcorn for me and Marcia to share and I got a drink, Pepsi. I walked into the theater still barely talking, just thinking about everything. It was a lot to think about all at once.
