Finally...

"WAIT!" I heard as something gripped my outstretched arm. I was yanked back over and I fell into a mass of warmth. I snapped back into reality. 'Was I really going to off myself? Did I actually let go of the rail?' My mind was racing from all the thoughts that were running through it. I hadn't even bothered to look up at what had pulled me back over. I was too lost in thought to notice that I had started crying, too. I don't even know how long I was crying. I just stayed in the warm mass and cried.

Once I managed to calm my crying a little, I realized the mass was stroking my hair.

'Okay it is a person' I concluded in my head.

I looked up slowly at who was holding onto me. He had a good grip, I had to say. Almost like he was holding onto me like I was gonna disappear if they let go. Once my eyes saw the face, I immediately started to take it all in. Big hazel, sparkling eyes that had a concerned gaze, framed with glasses. Eyebrows slightly furrowed in confusion. Messy gold-ish, dirty blonde hair that fell over his forehead and was partially covered by a grey hoodie. Pretty damn good cheekbones and a jawline that could cut tension in thin air. He had a cute nose, too. And perfect teeth that were peeking through his slightly parted lips. All in all, he seemed like a welcoming and caring person.

"I uh...I...um..." I tried to find something to say to the beautiful person who was engulfing me. "I...I'm sorry for getting tears on your jacket..." I said sheepishly and looked back down at my shoes. I heard a slight chuckle and looked back up. He was smiling. His smile was adorable it made me smile a little.

"Don't worry darling," he replied. He had an Australian accent, I noticed. "But are you alright?" He inquired. Little did he know, I had already fallen asleep in his arms. The crying wore me out. And the warmth made me sleepy. I slipped away into the peaceful darkness.

I woke up extremely dazed and confused. I was laying on a soft and cushy surface. A bed. I slowly lifted my head from the warm pillow and felt my hair fall onto my back. I swung my legs over the edge, and held my head in my hands as my elbows rested on my knees. I tried to ponder all that happened earlier. I finally remembered I tried to kill myself. As I relished in the thought, I was jolted back to reality when I heard a loud bang outside of the room I awoke in. I carefully stood up, gained balance, and started to walk to the plain, white door. I grasped the doorknob and turned it slowly, not wanting to make any noise in case it was a murderer. Once the door was open enough for my body to get through, I slipped out and tip toed down the plain white hallway. God, everything was white in this place. I reached a larger room with a beige couch, glass coffee table, decently sized TV, a dining room table and chairs, and a small kitchen, where a person stood. The handsome stranger. He looked familiar I don't know why, but then it came to me. I gasped a little. And he whipped his head around to see me.

"Sorry. I dropped the coffee cup. That must've woken you." He said with a little smile. I smiled a little back, unsure of how to respond.

"You want some?" He offered and gestured at me with the cup in his hand. I nodded and shyly walked over. I sat down at a stool I found on the other side of the granite counter, across from him. He handed me a cup and I said thank you quietly.

"You're a shy one, aren't you?" He inquired.

"A little," I replied. "I'm still a little shaken up about earlier. I'm assuming you're the stranger who saved my life?"

"That I am. I would ask why you would do such a thing, but you don't even know who I am."

"Oh, but I do." I said cheekily.
