Minsung
Jisung POV
"Nhhhng." Minho groaned, using all his strength to roll over. I woke, one eye opening as I fought against the ridiculously early hour.
"Baby, you good?" I mumbled, not sure if his groan of discontent was coherent or if he was talking in his sleep again.
"Nuh." He replied, sounding pitiful. I rose up on my elbow, peering over him, trying to see his face. He looked pale in the dimly lit room, his skin with a strange pallor.
I blinked away any residual exhaustion and was up, swinging my legs out of bed so I could go around the bed to see him, assess him better. "Baby..." I implored. I put my hand on his forehead, finding it hot and clammy. He was shivering, even though he'd rolled himself up in the entire comforter, answering the mystery of why I'd woke curled in a tight ball, cold and blanket less.
"You're sick, Min... can you tell me what's wrong?" I asked softly, mentally making a list of things to fetch. I listened intently as I grabbed a pair of boxers from the dresser, and one of Minho's t-shirts, which engulfed me fully.
"Ggguhng." He groaned, and then shot up, tearing the covers off as he stumbled toward the bathroom. I stared after him, into the still pitch-black doorway of the bathroom and listened as he got sick violently. My eyes went wide, and I blinked a few times processing the situation.
"Medicine, a bowl, cool rag, water- mint tea perhaps- soda?" My mind listed as I walked forward, leaning against the bathroom doorway. "Minho, Baby..." I called out softly. "Do you need help?"
"Gah. No! Go away, Jagi." He lamented, his voice raspy and choking as he fought against dry heaves.
"Min- don't be dramatic. I'm here to help."
"You don't need to see me like this." he complained, his voice ruined from getting sick. "Oh,no- oh god... fuck." he cursed suddenly, his words accompanied by the sounds of fumbling. "Ji- you need to close the door. Just go in the living room for a while... I- I'll be out soon.
My eyes widened, realizing what he was trying to convey. He wasn't just a little sick. He was deep in the throes of stomach flu sick. "Oh....I'll, uh... check on you in bit." I flipped the switch on for the bathroom light, pulling the door closed just as some unspeakable sounds came from deep within the bathroom.
I backed out of the bedroom, going to the kitchen, washing my hands aggressively, as if the act could somehow prevent me from catching the illness my boyfriend had. I was clearly delusional, of course- like I hadn't been sleeping next to him all night, and more obvious, like we hadn't had our mouths all over each other the night before.
Goldie was weaving around my legs, excited someone was awake- hoping to be let outside. "Aish, I know, Goldie- gimme a minute, papa is sick." I explained to the dog, as if she understood what I was saying. She sat, relenting her excitement as she waited, patiently her tail wagging slowly. It wasn't odd that she would be wandering in the early morning. Seungmin often left his door open so she could explore at night with the cats. I gave her a pat on the head once my hands were clean, giving in and letting her outside to run in the large newly fenced back yard.
