The small Café was more peaceful than what Choi Jung Soo had initially anticipated when he had set out to meet with his friends.
There was only the Barista at the counter and just a lonely redhead young man having some cake at one of the tables by the window.
Enjoying some tea and looking serene as the sunlight danced over him in an enchanting display, making him look ethereal.
Choi jung soo took a moment to pinch himself to make sure he was seeing right. Wondering if it was physically possible for a human being to look like an exotic painting. He even went out of the door and entered again three times just to make sure he was still in the same world.
The presence of the Barista standing behind the counter with all kinds of sweet delicacies on display did confirm that he was still in the same world.
The aforementioned Barista's judgmental stare and raised eyebrow helped too as he felt himself be filled with embarrassment and remembered that he was still standing at the door, like a fool.
He quickly looked away to spare himself further embarrassment but ended up meeting the eyes of the handsome stranger instead, who gave him a confused smile and made his brain short-circuit.
If the redhead hadn't been moving, Jung Soo would have thought of him as a beautiful statue instead.
This was the moment when Choi Jung Soo should have just smiled back politely and continued on his way.
Place his order and grabbed himself a seat to wait for the other two. That was what anyone else would do. Someone like Roksoo for instance.
But because it was Choi jung soo and not Kim Rok Soo, he went towards the redhead instead to apologize for staring.
Seeing him profusely apologizing for being so rude, the confused redhead waved it off with a smile and assured him it was fine.
He even offered him a seat and shared his cake!
Choi Jung decided, then and there, that they would now be the best of friends!
Since the place was empty and there was no one else besides them, Jung Soo stuck around the guy even after apologizing and being forgiven because he was a very social and outgoing person and had decided in his head that the guy could use some friends.
'Why else would he be here all alone?'
He started talking to him about all kinds of things much to the stranger's amusement.
That was the scene Lee Soo Hyuk walked in on.
He faltered for a minute before putting on a perfectly charming smile and moving towards the duo that was busy conversing.
He knew for a fact that they didn't know any redheads. So, this was probably just a poor soul that got caught by his over eager dongsaeng while trying to enjoy some peace and quiet.
His dongsaeng was the type of person who found it hard to believe that some people just liked to enjoy some peaceful time alone.
He had planned to walk over to them, apologize and hopefully drag jung soo away to set the poor guy free.
Feeling a little sorry for the unusually good-looking stranger as he reached close enough to hear his dongsaeng's rant about Rok Soo acting like a dragon with his hoard, everytime they tried to pry about his boyfriend.
"He didn't even tell us his name! They have been together for almost a decade now! A decade! And we don't even know his name!"
It was a very familiar rant. It wasn't like Roksoo was actively hiding his boyfriend or anything. Their youngest was just a very private person and prone to giving extremely short, one word or sentence answers, since he was too lazy to explain too much.
