Cabin Fever

Outside the colony, in the cold and snowy fields of copper-9, a bus full of students arrives at the “camp 98.7”

The bus suddenly jumped like a horse, causing the worker drone on top of it to have to use ropes to calm it down.

“Woah! Easy, girl.” The worker says to try to calm it down.

Eventually, the bus stops and lets out two honks. “Good girl.” The worker drone compliments it.

As the bus stops, the students start to exit from it, a worker drone named Sam starts to speak while exiting the bus, “Do you even wonder why we-” He is shoved to the ground by Emily, who was pushed by Darren.

“Hey!” Emily says as she picks up her book and leaves as more students continue to exit the bus.

“Hehe, no kidding!” Thad laughs with Lizzy as they exit the bus. Uzi being the last one to come off.

As Uzi exits the bus, she looks down at a couple pairs of collars that she's holding in her hand as we look at a flashback.

“After the core collapse… I didn't notice the collars.” Khan muttered while looking at an old photo of him and Nori, with some other friends.

“... Only Your mom being a catch!” He says as he receives no response from Uzi that only stares at him before blinking.

Soon, they were looking into a room full of old papers and storage stuff.

“She was always all, ‘Build doors against the coming sky demons!’ ‘The singularity awakens.’ ‘Look at this cool ‘S’ I can draw.’ Khan sighs before continuing. “Turns out, I’m not who either of you needed.” He then hands Uzi the collars. “Just… Be safe, ok?” He says as the flashback ends.

“Uh, teacher, what is this field trip?” A student asks.

Teacher: “Yeah, Uzi's idea. Ask her.” He disinterestedly replies.

“Who?” The worker asks in confusion.

“I’ve sat next to you for years.” Uzi suddenly said, scaring all the students.

Uzi: “Bite me! I asked to go alone. He's mad at your test scores.” She pointed out.

Teacher: “No year-end bonus, no learning.” He said nonchalantly while sitting at a chair on top of the rooftop.

“So, we're just unsupervised?” He asked.

Suddenly, something comes crashing down in front of them.

“What the-?!”

Revealing itselfs from the crash, its N, V and (Y/N) with his little spider-like companion. Both V and N are wearing camping clothes, and you were wearing army-like clothes. You thought that it was cool.

N: “Welcome, campers! Let’s sound off!” She starts to do a roll-call, but instead of that, she starts to count…

“One, two…” She stops, nearly all the students being afraid of them. Suddenly a student gets shot by V and falls dead on the snow.

“THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, ELEVEN, NINE!” The students quickly and desperately spoke.

(Y/N): “Number Nine, you took too much time to speak… Do 5 push-ups, NOW.” You menacingly speak to the student while pointing your nanite tail into the student's head.

The student desperately started to do the push-ups, making you smirk at his despair.
“Old habits never die.” You thought while laughing internally.
