The next morning, the sun streamed in through the curtains, casting a warm, golden light over the living room where Ako and Rick had spent the previous evening. Ako slowly stirred awake, nestled comfortably against Rick, who was still deep in sleep. She smiled, feeling the lingering warmth of their connection.
As Ako reached for her phone on the coffee table, she noticed a new message from June. She unlocked the screen and read the text:
"Hey Ako, where are you? I haven't heard from you since Anderson dragged you away! Everything okay?"
Ako's mind immediately went to the fun and playful evening she'd had with Rick. She felt a surge of excitement at the thought of introducing her best friend to someone who had become so important in her life.
Carefully slipping out of the sheets to avoid waking Rick, Ako made her way to the kitchen. As she brewed a fresh pot of coffee, she thought about how June would react to meeting Rick. She knew her friend would appreciate the warmth and kindness Rick had shown her.
After getting dressed, Ako replied to June's message:
"Hi June! Everything's great. I'm just at Rick's place. Would you like to come over? I'd love for you to meet him!"
She hit send and then poured herself a cup of coffee, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness. June had always been an important part of her life, and she hoped that Rick and June would get along well.
As Ako sipped her coffee, she heard her phone ping with June's response:
"His place!? Bitch, you know you have a lot of problems with Claudia, don't you? What are you doing playing house? And did you?"
Ako grinned, her cheeks flushing with amusement. She quickly typed back:
"Yes, yes girl, twice!" She added a playful eggplant emoji and some water droplets to her message.
"You slut! If you have the time to lollygag, go find a solution to your problem first!" June retorted.
"We did find a solution! Come over and I'll catch you up, and yeah, I did gag, at first!" Ako playfully responded, adding a winking face emoji.
"Here's the pin, get your ass here!" Ako added to her reply.
Ako smiled, her excitement building. She quickly tidied up the living room, ensuring it was presentable for her friend. She was eager for June to see the lighter side of her life with Rick and hoped they'd all have a great time together.
When Rick finally woke up, Ako was ready with a warm smile. "Good morning, handsome," she said cheerfully. She playfully slid back under the covers, teasing Rick with her touch.
Rick stretched, his eyes still closed. "Well, good morning to you too, gorgeous," he murmured, kissing her softly. "Someone's eager this morning!"
Ako giggled and playfully ducked under the sheets. The morning was filled with light-hearted teasing and affectionate moments, both of them enjoying the closeness and intimacy.
After a while, they both emerged from the covers, feeling refreshed and happy. Ako looked at Rick with a warm smile. "June should be here soon. I'm really looking forward to you meeting her."
Rick nodded, smiling back. "Me too. It sounds like it's going to be a fun day."
As Ako finished getting ready, Rick helped her prepare a light breakfast, adding to the cozy atmosphere of their morning. The doorbell rang, signaling June's arrival.
Ako opened the door, greeting her best friend with a big hug. "June! I'm so glad you're here!"
June stepped inside, looking around with curiosity. "So, this is Rick's place, huh? It's nice! And it seems like you two have been having a good time," she said with a sly grin, noting Ako's absence of underwear through her clothes.
