Divya's house, Los Angeles
Divya sat on her couch in her massive living room watching reruns of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta with her younger sister Priya.
"Who do you think Scrappy's soulmate is?" Priya asked her older sister.
"Definitely Erica Dixon, hell he followed her to the Dominican Republic to beg for forgiveness after he left her" She reminded her younger sister "You want something to eat?"
She asked walking toward the pantry. Suddenly a notification popped up on her phone, Priya looked down noticing it was from Love Island.
"Um, Div you just got a text!" She squealed rushing over to her sister.
"What is it?" She asked slightly alarmed as her sister pushed her phone into her hands.
Hey Divya, are you ready for a steaming summer? Pack your bags, tomorrow night you'll be in Casa Amour ~ Love Island
Divya looked at her phone in shock and delight. She had entered Love Island as a dare curtsey of Priya, but now she was actually going.
"Omg you have to go" Priya demanded excitedly.
"No, I don't" Divya shut her down instantly.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want my personal life to be played with and manipulated for other people's personal gain" She said shutting off her phone.
"We're celebrities, our personal lives are already manipulated for other people's gain" She reminded her "And if you don't go, I'll tell mom you broke her Miss Indonesia tiara"
"But her tiara isn't broken" She stated confused.
"True, but she doesn't know that, and you know she loves that thing more than her firstborn" She countered causing Divya to shake her head.
"Vamos Div, ha pasado un año desde que tú y ese bastardo rompisteis. Mereces felicidad, por favor." Come on Div, it's been a year since you and that bastard broke up. You deserve happiness, please. Priya begged.
"Bien, pero esto es estúpida te digo" Fine, but this is stupid I'm telling you Divya told Priya.
The girl left to go pack her bags and find her passport, wherever it was. She was still a bit hurt over the nasty and very public break up between the her and Chris. She loved him, more than anyone so much that she failed to see the toxicity of their relationship. But Priya was right, she does deserve happiness.
