Alexandra Flemming grew up in a small town called Rosewood.
She was smart, so smart she ended up skipping 8th grade, and went straight into High School. She could have skipped the first two years too, but she wanted to go through the normal process of it all. She was also popular, but with the wrong crowd.
When she was 14, and her friends 15, her best friend Alison went missing and at 15 she started getting stalked by mysterious messages from someone pretending to be her.
The stalker ended up bringing the five estranged friends back together after everything that happened.
Things started going down hill for the girls after that year, and their lives quickly flipped upside down.
And when Alexandra's mother, Isobel, left for a business trip and didn't come back Alexandra started getting worried. And after she Graduated she went looking for her.
She tracked her mother's last known address to a small town called Mystic Falls, where she found out her mother was dead, and she had a twin sister named Elena.
To say she was shocked would be to say the least. But it's nowhere near the shock she was in for afterwards.
