Cough

Some giggles and laughter were heard all about the house. Neptune chased after a couple of his children while keeping a conversation with Uranus.

"It's okay, neighborino-" He hid behind a wall, waiting for Naiad to come around so he could frighten her. "We'll find Umbriel eventually, just give it some time." He had a grin on his face, jumping out from his spot and startling Naiad who ran from him, cackling. Uranus sighed, following Neptune. He was much slower due to his own problems, so it was more difficult to keep up with him and how he was moving about the house. "But I've been waiting forever!" He'd complain, frustrated. "Mate, it's been days and we've gotten no response, I- I'm hopeless!" They whined, just being deppresive as ever.

Neptune hummed, now carrying Naiad in his hands. "Don't be such a negative Nancy!" He winked at Uranus, walking over to a play pen where five other of his kids were and gently placing Naiad in it. "You just have to be patient-" He stood up straight, pretending to have binoculars. "Now, where could Despina be?" He cooed, tapping his chin. Neptune heard a few giggles behind the large L shaped sofa in front of him, making him grin devilishly. "I wonder.." He slowly crept towards the couch, climbing atop it. "What if she's..." He'd pop his head behind the couch, making Despina yelp. "Here!" They pointed at the child, watching as she crawled away.

"Get over here!" Neptune climbed over the couch, falling face first. "Oof-" He mumbled, shaking his head before the smile returned to his face and he stood up, following Despina around the sofa. "I'm gonna get youu!" He chuckled, the little girl screaming happily. Uranus only watched, his thoughts still lingering on Umbriel. She wasn't even too far from the house, just out a block or two by the playground, what could've happened to her in that short distance?

"I don't.." Uranus pondered, perplexed as the puzzle pieces weren't adding up. "I don't get it, mate.." He whispered, crossing his arms, leaning into his cane. His eyes were glued to the floor as his mind wandered, determined to get any cluee to figure out where Umbriel could've been for the past two weeks. Uranus would exhale sharply, pushing his glasses up on his face as he gazed back up, getting startled once he sees Neptune face to face with him. "Wh- Bloody hell, mate! Why're you all up in my face-" He grabbed ahold of his cane, backing up. Neptune blinked, forming a cheesy smile. "Do need to pay Doctor Neptune a visit?" They said, batting their lashes.

Uranus stared at him, scrunching up his nose. "Mate, get the hell away from me." He scoffed, rolling their eyes. Neptune giggled, turning on his heel. "Just saying!" It skipped in circles, waiting for a bit before he decided to seek for another one of his kids. "You seem like you need to vent out your feelings to someone, I'm happy to help if you need me!" They blinked unevenly, shutting one eye before the other.

Uranus tilted his head, nearly considering the idea before shaking his head, denying it. "I don't need no bloody therapist, yeah? I just.." Ura' thought of an excuse, looking away. "I just need some time to think, alright, mate." And he walked off, tapping his cane across the floor. Neptune watched him, furrowing his brows as he worried for his cousin. Something was wrong, they both knew it. He'd sigh, twirling a strand of his hair. "I wish you'd open up more to me." Neptune thought aloud in a hushed tone, a frown tugging at his lips. It quickly shook it's head, averting their attention back to the task at hand. Find Despina and end this game of hide and seek.

Now determined, he grinned again, looking around the area of the house he was in, squinting his eyes. "Oh Despinaaa.. Where are youu?" He sounded, stepping around.

Neptune passed through multiple rooms, looking in each while he searched around. After scanning about most of the bottom half of the house, he chose to move upstairs, that being an easy place to hide in. Most of Uranus' children's rooms were up there, alongside Triton. He tugged at his hair, plucking a strand out. He also made a few sounds, all his actions a form of stimming. He hummed, walking in the direction of the staircase.
