The mother of the bride started his first message while looking at her daughter. I could feel the emotions on her face and that wasn't the first time I saw her being like that.

May your marriage be as beautiful and strong as the love we've always shared. Cherish each other, laugh often, and remember that my love and support are always with you. Congratulations, my sweet girl."

I heard a huge applause from the mother of the bride after she said in front of the crowd her greatest message to her only daughter.

Call the others to help you, baka hindi mo kaya na mag-isa."

She smiled at me, her head nodding just before her lips curved into a smile.

I took a look in front of the glass mirror from the window where I could see my reflection on it. Inayos ko ang kwelyo ng puti kong chef uniform and when the chef hat botheres me, mabilis ko itong inalis at inilapag sa tabi ng locker.

I blink my eyes a few times when I remember that I had my contact lens on it. I should be ready.

"Now, let's call our next guest who will give a message to our newlywed couple."

The emcee started to give an introduction and my legs gave me a signal that it was me. They knew what's the emcee referring to kaya pasimple akong binibigyan sila ng maliit na ngiti.

"He's not just a guest but he was the sous chef of this memorable occasion!" She announces happily, "Let's give a round of applause to the sous chef of the famous Cucina Eterna, Chef Nate!"
