This preface is to give you a brief synopsis of the story you're about to read, going over with content warnings and touching on the elemental powers that would be included. If you're fine so far, continue reading from Chapter One.

Synopsis:

Eldermoor, a town with a hidden supernatural history is shrouded in mystery. The prophecy of a "chosen one" who could either bring destruction or save the world has been whispered through the ages. This prophecy is feared by the elementalists and hidden by the town's elite. The prophecy speaks of a young girl with the power to bring balance and peace but with destruction. 

Maya Sterling  a 17-year-old with a troubled past, returns to her childhood home after her parents' mysterious deaths. Forced to move in with her aunt and uncle, Maya is reunited with her cousin Ollie Lovehart, his eccentric behaviour and personality makes him stand out.

As Maya acclimates to her new life, she discovers that Eldermoor is far from ordinary. The town's hidden supernatural history unfolds before her eyes, revealing that she has inherited extraordinary powers connected to an ancient prophecy. As the "chosen one," Maya is destined to either save or destroy the world—a burden she struggles to comprehend.

Along her journey, she meets those who help her or go against her.

Her childhood friend Bowie McCall, a privileged yet troubled air elemental guides her through Eldermoor, Maya begins to explore her powers through her help. Bowie, struggling with her own secrets and the status of her parents, helps Maya navigate the complex world of elemental magic. Alongside Bowie is Emerson Martinez, a lightning-wielding jokester with a hidden past, who becomes a steadfast ally and surrogate brother to Maya.

Zayne Blackwood, a charismatic fire elemental with a playful demeanor and a agenda, is tasked with monitoring Maya due to the prophecy. His role becomes more complicated as he grapples with his own feelings for Maya and loyalty. Nyxie Aquino, a reserved yet brilliant shadow manipulator, provides vital information and stealth support, revealing her own complex connection to Maya.

Meanwhile, Wilder Cross, the brooding leader of the rival group The Stone Circle, seeks to harness elemental powers for dominance. His deep-seated resentment and dark past creates tension within the group.

Finn Denvers, an ice elemental discovered in Eldermoor, who knows who he is.
