Maki woke up from the familiar feeling building in on her stomach surging up to her throat, she immediately got out of the bed and run towards the bathroom. She started retching onto the sink with the water running out from the faucet. When she look up to see her reflection on the mirror, her eyes immediately widen upon realizing that Sophia and her is sharing a room. After she splash her face with some water she went outside the bathroom right away, her eyes roaming around the room but she didn't spot the other girl.
“She's not here.” Maki let out a sigh.
She have a faint idea on where the latter is, Sophia went out for a morning jog. The hobby that her older sister and Sophia have in common. Maki walk up towards the bed and rest her back against the head of the bed, feeling the pain on her lower back. She let out a grunt after making herself comfortable, ngunit hindi pa man siya nagtatagal sa kaniyang pagkaka-upo ay biglang tumunog ang bell ng kanilang room.
When it goes off the second time, she lazily dragged herself out of the bed and went to open it. Sophia immediately greeted her sight that was smiling back at her, sheepishly.
“I'm sorry kung nagising kita, I forgot my keycard kasi.” Sophia said.
Maki opened the door wide to let the latter in, just then she realized that the girl wasn't alone; Jadeleine and Cielo was with her. Sophia read the older girl's confusion and enlightened the latter right away.
“I came across with them while jogging, kaya inaya ko na sila sumabay sa'kin at para sabay-sabay na din tayo mag breakfast.”
Maki just nodded her head in understanding, stepping inside letting the three to come in on her and Sophia shared room.
“Good Morning, Maki.” Jade greeted the latter with a bright smile.
“Good Morning din Jade.” tugon naman ni Maki dito, na mas nagpalawig sa ngiti ng dalaga.
“Finally, hindi na ‘Miss Villanueva’ ang tawag mo sa'kin.” natatawang sambit pa nito.
Maki chuckled lightly, shaking her head.
“To be honest, it feels weird pa rin sa'kin hanggang ngayon na tawagin ka sa first name basis.” Maki muttered looking away.
“Sus, sabihin mo selos ka lang–” Sophia didn't even get to finished what she was about to say when Maki elbowed her side.
“Ouch!” agad na daing ng dalaga.
“Oa, hindi naman malakas 'yun.” aniya naman ni Maki.
“Kung ikaw kaya sikmuraan ko diyan?” Maki immediately covered her stomach and shook her head.
“Oh sino ang oa sa'tin ngayon?” Sophia said, letting out a scoff.
The three of them converse while Cielo stay silent by the side, just watching them talk. Her phone suddenly rang catching the other girls attention, she immediately excuses herself from them and made her way outside.
“So saan tayo magbre-breakfast?” biglang saad ni Jadeleine nang makalabas na ng tuluyan si Cielo.
“I don't feel like eating sa labas eh–Oh! Maki, magluto na lang tayo dito.” tugon naman ni Sophia.
