We just looked at each other.
Awkwardly.
"Eclipse?" Moon broke the silence. "Didn't you, no wait, you aren't Eclipse, or at least not our Eclipse."
"God, I know it's been decades for me, maybe even centuries, but it can't have been much for you, I'm hurt you don't remember me." I attempted to put up an egotistical facade.
"Oh goddammit, what do you want?" Moon scoffed.
"Who is this?!" The Eclipse yelled out, confused.
"I am-" Moon cut me off.
"That's an Eclipse from a dimension where he got the star, beat BloodMoon, and reset the universe." Moon explained to the Eclipse, who nodded.
"Makes sense."
"ANYWAY, I guess the Eclipse from this dimension is pathetic." I motioned towards the Eclipse with my spear, forgetting I was using it to help me stand. I fell to the ground and quickly picked myself back up, embarrassed.
"I'm not Eclipse. Nor am I from here." The Eclipse stated. I scoffed.
"Ugh." I mumbled.
"Why are you here?" Moon questioned me sternly. I hadn't thought about an excuse, and I wasn't gonna tell Moon I lost.
"What? Can I not visit my dear friends?" I said, then fell to my knees, coughing up oil. My rays retracted, and my legs felt weak. I hadn't realized how much I relied on my star power.
I couldn't stand. I hated this feeling. Being a mere mortal.
"Are you, like, finally dying?" Moon said in the sassiest way ever in the sassiest pose, earning him a light punch in the shoulder from the not Eclipse.
"I'm not dying. You idiots need to get your edgy villains under control." I spat at Moon.
"Nexus and Dark Sun?" Moon questioned, when "Nexus" was brought up, the not Eclipse looked down, and Moon put a hand on his shoulder.
"Yes." I gritted my teeth, and Moon put the pieces together.
"Oooh! You lost to them and came here for help, didn't you?" Moon gave me a smug look, I scoffed.
"I came for a safe haven.." I mumbled
"Hmmm? Didn't hear ya buddy?" Moon continued, giving me that smug face.
"I needed some time to recover, that's it" I glared at Moon, and finally found it in me to stand and made it out of the ballpit.
"Suuuuuure.." Moon continued to be the sassiest thing ever, God I wish I could kill him.
