Aftermath - A Callum story/TDP

Pre - War Part: 3

The next morning Queen Anya arrived with all 5 kingdom armies.

That same moment, Callum had waken up and gotten dressed. Rayla was still asleep.

His aunt had walked in a few minutes later.

She walked up to Callum to bring him in for a huge hug.

Callum gave her a signal with his feet that she was squeezing too hard. She then put him down.

"This is gonna be all out war... isn't it?!," Callum said, signing to Amaya.

"Yes! It is," She signed back.

"Just to keep you safe I brought some old armor I found it still is in very good shape.... it was your mother's! Try it on!," Amaya signed.

A while later Amaya came back.

"I think it fits!," Callum signed.

"Wow! You are growing up too fast! Your mother would be so proud!," Amaya signed as she started crying a little.

"I know!," Callum signed back!

"I do not want you out there without this on!," Amaya signed sternly. Callum knodded back. Amaya hugged her nephew once more.

A few moments later Rayla walked in looking for Callum.

"Wow! What's all this?," Rayla said in shock.

"It was my mom's! Let's just say I can't go out in battle without it because of my aunt!," Callum said.

"You better have it on!," Rayla playfully said.

"I'll let you two have privacy!," Amaya signed.

"You sure your up for this?," Rayla asked.

"Yeah!," Callum said.

Callum took a deep breath and thought for a second.

"Rayla... (he sighed) maybe during this... you should leave to be safe from Aaravos and Claudia," Callum said in worry.

"What!?... I'm not leaving you! I'm fighting!," Rayla said in reply.

"I don't want you getting hurt, I wouldn't know what I'd do if anything happened to you...," Callum said.

"I'll be fine... I'll help Ezran during the attack!," Rayla said.

"That's what I mean! Please take Ezran and get somewhere safe," Callum said.

"I... I... I don't want to leave you alone out there!," Rayla said.

"Rayla... please! I want the both of you to be safe and away from harm!," Callum said asking Rayla.

"OK! I can't win this... can I!? I'll get Ezran and we'll leave at dawn," Rayla said.

"I love you!," Callum said hugging her.

"I love you too!," Rayla replied kissing him.

A FEW HOURS LATER!

Callum, Amaya, and Janai gathered all the 5 kingdom armies before sundown.

"Katolis has fallen in the hands of Aaravos an evil startouch elf that is an archmage meaning he is VERY powerful! I am asking you all to to help us take back katolis... I know we all have people we love and care about... but I need you all focused and willing to fight for katolis! Are you with us? Will you allow me to lead this?," Callum said in strong confidence and leadership.

Everyone started to shout happily. They are all willing to fight. Callum was amazed. Rayla smiled at him.

"We leave at dawn... get some rest, we all need it for this big attack.. see you all in the morning!," Callum said.

LATER THAT NIGHT!

"Hey!," Rayla said walking in.

"Hey!," Callum replied.

"That was amazing what you did... speaking like that!?," Rayla said.

Callum smiled.

"Yeah... That kinda brought me outa my comfort zone a bit!," Callum said.

"I can tell!," Rayla said.

"Just... please! Be safe out there!," Rayla said in worry.

"I promise... I will find you both once we take back katolis!," Callum said hugging Rayla.

"Ok!," Rayla said relieved to be in his arms.

"Goodnight!," Rayla said kissing him.

"Goodnight!," Callum said kissing back. Rayla walked out.

THE NEXT MORNING AT DAWN!

Everyone was ready to go. Rayla and Ezran gave Callum a huge hug wishing them good luck and to be safe and they headed out for the moon nexus to be safe.

Callum and the other leaders began to leave for katolis. It was time to take it back and destroy Aaravos for good.
