After taking Ron to the infirmary, Hermione, Professor Snape, and I went in search of Harry, Sirius, and Lupin.
Unfortunately, we only found Sirius and Harry, both unconscious on the shore of the Black Lake.By then, it was morning. Sirius had been examined and then imprisoned. We were disappointed; he is innocent, but we couldn't save him.
"We have to do something..." I murmur.
Hermione turns to me, her expression serious. "We have to do something to save Sirius. We can't let him die for a crime he didn't commit."Hermione looks at the necklace she was wearing. An object I had always noticed, and immediately understood its significance. She exchanges a glance with Harry, who nods. "We have to go back," she says with determination.
Hermione grabs the Time-Turner, and in an instant, we are transported back in time. The stars above us move rapidly, and the world seems to blur for a moment. Then everything stops, and we find ourselves exactly where we were a few hours earlier, on the grounds of Hogwarts.
"We don't have much time," says Hermione, her voice urgent. "We have to act quickly and without being seen."
What follows is a frantic sequence of calculated actions. We move through the evening, observing events from a different perspective. We see ourselves living through those same moments of anguish and confusion. But this time, we are prepared.
We follow Dumbledore to Hagrid's hut, hiding in the shadows. We notice how Dumbledore spoke with Hagrid, how he tried to buy us some time, and how the plan to save Buckbeak began to take shape. While the others were distracted, Hermione and I, with great effort and discretion, manage to free Buckbeak.
"Go, get out of here," I whisper to the great hippogriff. He doesn't care about me, doesn't even notice me, so I decide to take the chain tied around his neck in my hands to lead him into the forest. But, remembering what had happened to Draco a short time ago, I grab some ferrets to distract him and keep him from getting angry.
A life has been saved, but it wasn't over yet. We still had to save Sirius. After bringing Buckbeak with us, we head towards the Whomping Willow, and when the time is right, we emerge from the bushes where we were hiding and follow Sirius and Harry. Along the way, we encounter Lupin, but Buckbeak manages to save us. When we reach the other side of the lake, we see Sirius and Harry lying on the ground, unconscious, with Dementors everywhere. But Harry stops us from moving; he says his father saved him, and that's why he brought us here.
The Dementors were getting closer and closer to Sirius and Harry, so I rush toward them with a determined look.
"Expecto Patronum!" I shout. It was the first time I had cast this spell. Lupin had taught it to me a short time before. My Patronus appeared in all its splendor. It was a majestic panther, a figure shining with a pure and intense light. The Patronus drives away the Dementors, saving Sirius and Harry from oblivion.
But we couldn't stop. Time was running out, and we had to act quickly.
While our past selves saved Harry and Sirius, Hermione, Harry, and I return to the castle. We were riding on Buckbeak and landed together with the hippogriff on the tower where Sirius had been imprisoned.
We manage to free Sirius from his cell with a spell and make him fly on Buckbeak, who was finally free. The relief we felt was indescribable. We had accomplished the impossible. We had saved Sirius and Buckbeak.
Finally, we return to the infirmary, tired and confused but with great happiness and light-heartedness. Ron, unaware of everything, noticed that Hermione, Harry, and I had just entered through the door. "But- before... how-... Before you were there, how is it possible?" we laugh. "Ron, don't be silly, you can't be in different places at the same time," I say in an amused voice.
We sit next to him, exhausted but relieved, though the questions about my father, about who he really was, continued to haunt me. But for now, at least, I could find some peace, knowing that we had done the right thing.Author's Note
These two chapters were difficult for me to write. This is one of the first stories I've written seriously, and I care about it a lot, so if there are any mistakes, please don't judge me.
(Also because I write at night when I'm sleepy since I'm always busy during the day.)Anyway, thanks for your patience❤️
