Update: 8/31/2024:
Guys, Landon has autism/ADHD. He is going to appear child-like sometimes. He enjoys smiling, he loves the world, and he adores books and adventures. He's 24, almost 25 years old. I need you to understand that I take zero criticism on his character. Why? Because he has parts of my inner child that I was forced to suppress. If you don't like the story, that's a shame, but I understand. I only ask that if you read, keep your rude remarks to yourself.
If you were to ask a group of people what "acting your age" meant, the answers would vastly change. There isn't a correct way to act your age. These people are on a road trip fresh out of college, and honestly, they are allowed to have moments of fun banter, "immature" behavior and otherwise. Just because they don't fit your perception, doesn't mean they're not adults.
Furthermore, these stories are something I'm providing you FOR FREE, and I'm not looking for criticism. Landon is fine the way he is. Everest is fine the way he is. Lennox, too. If they want to act immature because god forbid they enjoy life, let them. I've seen a few comments about him and the others.
I work tirelessly to produce these stories, and I write relatively okay content for how fast I write. I complete books in a week. If you don't like it, please don't put my characters down. When you do that, you put me down. It ends up uninspiring me, and I can't continue because I feel like my story is all wrong.
So, I ask that if you're going to read the work that I didn't write for anyone except me, and chose to share with you, please leave the negativity out of here. This story is a fluff piece that I wrote when I was in a very bad place. I hate watching people give harsh comments when there is no reason for it.
Okay.
Thank you.
xx
