THE SHIBUYA INCIDENT PART 9

You had Nobara promise that she would go to Ieiri and keep an eye on Megumi, who was in really bad shape when you left him to the doctor.

"You owe me for this," she grumbled, her eyes narrowing with annoyance before she turned on her heel.

She stalked off in the direction you had informed would help her find Ieiri, her steps heavy with reluctant determination.

With that, you could feel more at ease, knowing where your friends were. A bit of the tension eased from your shoulders, though the chaos around you remained. You took a moment to steady your breath, aware that this temporary relief wouldn’t last.

Your next task was to reunite with other sorcerers and team up because you could tell, with the way things were headed, the mastermind behind this entire incident would come into the spotlight soon.

"Oh... is that... Panda!" you called out, your voice breaking through the noise around you. He was unmistakable, standing near a pile of rocks.

You waved to earn his attention, and he looked up, his expression shifting from focus to recognition as he spotted your happy form.

Panda let out a hum, acknowledging your presence with a lazy but warm gesture, his ears twitching.

He turned back to the pile, effortlessly using his strength to lift up a particular rock. The stone gave way to reveal Kusakabe, sprawled out and looking as relaxed as ever, as if he hadn’t been buried under rubble.

"Hiding as usual, Kusakabe-san?" you asked, stepping into his view with a teasing grin.

The older man could only let out a weary sigh before pushing himself up, dusting off the dirt that clung to his clothes.

"Well... when you have someone like Sukuna on the loose, do you blame me?" he retorted, his voice laced with frustration.

You could only laugh in response, the sound lighthearted and carefree, which made Kusakabe shake his head in defeat. He couldn't figure out how you managed to stay so enthusiastic, even now.

"As long as [F/N]'s around, Sukuna won't be causing any problems." A new voice cut through the conversation, and you brightened up instantly.

Panda and Kusakabe, however, stared in shock, their eyes widening at the unexpected sight.

"Yuta? I thought you were still abroad?" Panda questioned, his shock clear as he blinked at his friend, struggling to process his sudden appearance.

"Um... well..." Yuta stammered, scratching the back of his head awkwardly, clearly caught off guard.

Before he could explain, you stepped in, your tone confident.

"I told Okkotsu-san to come before the Shibuya incident occurred."

Your words hung in the air, heavy and unexpected. Both Panda and Kusakabe exchanged confused glances before the realization dawned on them.

"Wait..." Panda trailed off, his voice tinged with disbelief.

"You knew this was going to happen?" Kusakabe’s voice sharpened, his body tensing as he stood up, moving closer to Panda with a wary look.

His hand drifted to the hilt of his sword, suspicion flickering in his eyes as he stared at you differently now.

Yuta panicked, waving his hands frantically as he tried to help smooth things over.

"It's a long story, but since we don't have a lot of time, [F/N] will give a quick summary for you, okay?" he blurted out, hoping to defuse the tension before it escalated further.
