On the sixth of August, two beautiful babies were born, and when I say beautiful, I mean beautiful. Their mother instantly reached out to grab both of them in her arms, her face lighting up at the sight of them.A boy and a girl, both with dark shades of blue hair, although looking a little closer she could see that one's hair was darker than the other's.
'They're beautiful...' She mumbles in awe, ignoring how the doctor nods with rosy cheeks. She smiles softly, rocking them carefully in her arms. 'I already know what their names are gonna be...'
-_-_-
The boy with dark blue hair stretches his arms, grunting while doing so as he ignores the stares on him and his sister. He drops his arms down, not surprised by it. After all, everyone's been looking at them like that since their birth.
He looks towards his sister who glances at him with a prideful smile, clearly enjoying the stares. He smiles back before taking her hand and continuing to walk their path to school.
The two of them, now sixteen, look very alike. Well, of course, they do; they're twins. However, there are some other differences besides the fact that one has masculine features and the other feminine features.
For example, the boy's hair is a lot darker than hers, as mentioned before. You could even be fooled into believing it's black.
Another example is the boy's height, him being almost a head taller than her. He got that from his father.
'You know...' the girl says suddenly, her sweet voice entering his ear making him glance over. 'I can't wait for the compliments we're gonna get.' she states happily as her brother shrugs. Sure, he did enjoy the attention and stuff, but her enjoyment goes way beyond that; it can even be called obsession.
'Kokomi, we're already receiving a lot of stares, I can hear everyone whispering from here.' his sister ignores him as they walk through the school gates, heading towards the gym for the assembly. Nothing really happened besides the fact that a green-haired dude fainted; the blue-haired male forgot his name.
Anyway, when it was over, he and Kokomi separated, his sister saying something about going to the bathroom before going to their classroom.
In previous years, Kokomi and her brother got separated in school, as she was placed in another class than his.
Luckily that changed this year. Yes, the Teruhashi boy was gonna have to meet new faces and a whole new class, but that doesn't seem so bad. What's the worst that could happen?
The boy sighs as soon as she leaves his side, a wave of loneliness waiving over him. He didn't have a lot of friends; boys often were too envious or scared to come close to him, and girls, well, they were more there for his looks. Hopefully, everyone in this class is different. But it's not like he needed it anyway; the compliments and hungry stares were enough to keep him company.
He sighs again as he looks toward the door to his classroom, his steps seeming to quicken. When entering, he receives a bunch of greetings, mostly from girls, as they gather around him. The boy deadpans before starting to greet them one by one as they start to introduce themselves, he doesn't want to be rude.
Even though he wasn't in their class in the previous years, all of them know him a little too well. He isn't surprised though.
After he's done, he tells them to leave, saying something about an aching pain in his head. Which is a lie, he just wants to get rid of them.
