The wonderful sound of birds chirping,

the leaves blown by the wind on a beautiful summer day,

And most importantly, a sun that starts to wake up.

Not just any sun, our sun!

He keeps our days sunny and is always a helping hand.

The sun looks over the cake made of strawberries in which little Miss Strawberry lives.

"Oh, hello!" says a voice, it's a man's voice.

"It's been so long since we've had visitors, I'd be glad to show you around while all the townspeople are asleep." The sun beams with excitement

"Today is a special day though, it's Strawberry Shortcake's 16th birthday! and everyone is planning her a party."

"well... everyone except Raisin Cane, the niece of Sour Grapes."

The Sun hovers over Porcupine Peek with a glare.

Suddenly Strawberry Shortcake gets awoken from her slumber by an alarm clock with a face.

"Oh! you didn't oversleep this time?" Strawberry Shortcake says with a smile.

Her alarm clock laughs "Well, I forget to wake you up on your birthday most years. take this as my present Little Miss Strawberry"

Strawberry Shortcake teases "And every year you forget to wake me up I grow farther from being little!" she says while getting out of bed

A cat meows and makes a pout face

"Oh, Custard I'm berry sorry I woke you up," she says apologetically

Custard shrugs

"Why, I have to get ready Custard! I have a party set up at noon!" Strawberry Shortcake says as she opens her strawberry dresser.

Half an hour later a happy Strawberry Shortcake exits her cake made of strawberry wearing the same thing she wears every other day.

"Good morning Mr Tree!" she says with a huge grin on her face

"Good morning Strawberry, and happy birthday." says a tall tree

Strawberry Shortcake laughs

"Thank you berry much! Have a lovely day Mr Tree" Says Strawberry Shortcake while fixing her apron.

Strawberry Shortcake grabs the bike she has resting against her house

She puts Custard in the basket in the front and starts to petal towards her party.

Orange Blossom walks into the party.

It's in the same place they hold the annual pet show.

It seems everyone is here for her party!

almost everyone...

"Auntie Grape! how come nobody showed up for my birthday, yet we're the only people not at Strawberry Shortcakes?" says Raisin Cane with a hint of disappointment in her voice

"Because everyone loves Strawberry Shortcake and her... berry talk" says The Purple Pieman shivering of fear

"she asked me not you, purpy you dingleberry!" says a sassy woman in her 50s shouts while petting a snake

The Pieman's eye twitches slightly and Raisin scuffs

"The only dingleberry here is you!" he says angrily

"When I sing I make people cry for a week!" says Sour Grapes gruffly

"I am something nobody would ever seek!" says the Purple Pieman

"for we are the Peculiar Purple Partners of Porcupine Peek!" they both do a silly dance with a completely straight face.

Raisin lets out a groan

"do you seriously think you guys look cool when you do that?" she says snatching her aunt's pet snake Dregs.

she exits the room while holding Dregs, she sits down and talks to him.

Raisin Cane tries thinking berry hard about how to get everyone to like her, instead of that berry-talking, dingleberry named Strawberry Shortcake.

"hmm... I got it! if she has no party they'll be forced to come to mine! i need to set myself up a new party for them to go to instead of Strawberry Shortcakes!" she laughs maniaclly

Dregs nods along with her

Raisin looks through Pieman's old plans to get some inspiration

"Let's see... teaching crows to copy what everyone says"

She throws the folder on the ground and keeps looking

"Why Am I Sweaty? ew..."

She tosses a book with the cover of a sweaty boy.

"All of these plans are horrible! no wonder they always failed!" she says annoyed

She laughs to herself

"I'll come up with one myself"
