"SO, YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING WHAT DOES A TEAM DOES AFTER THEY WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP." aisha said holding her phone up, "the answer? victory nachos!" everyone raised their glass cups up as they cheered. "it was supposed to be a round of drinks, but the waitress was not feeling hawk's fake id." aisha said shaking her head into the camera.
"hey, don't talk about that. my parents follow you." hawk whispered towards aisha who was still recording.
"sorry mr. and mrs. moskowitz." she said into the camera, "anyways, until next time, no mercy, bitches." she then ended the video.
"I gotta say, it's nice to be at a victory party." demetri said about to put a nacho in his mouth. "yeah, except you had nothing to do with the victory." hawk snatched the nacho and ate it.
"then I consider it a belated party for the coding competition we won at computer camp." eden had remembered this since demetri had invited her over that day to watch them compete. "remember?, demetri and eli binary brothers" he did the motions of a robot making the three girls laugh.
"hey, where's Miguel? those wings are getting cold." eden pointed over at Miguel who sat next to Atticus, "have you talked to him?" aisha asked the girl who sat beside her.
"not since the competition ended." hawk sighed looking at the girl, "let's go talk to him." he stood up taking eden's hand to walk her over to Miguel.
"el serpiente, there you are." Miguel looked over at hawk and eden. "this is how you celebrate a first-place trophy?" aisha asked sitting down.
"what do you mean? he's hanging out with the coolest junior." Atticus said as he placed his arm around Miguel. Miguel continued to have a very unemotional face, "hey, you okay?" eden asked softly.
Miguel, forcing a smile, nodded. "yeah, im fine. just a little tired, I guess."
eden reached out squeezing his hand gently. "if there's anything on your mind, you know you can talk to me." he gave her a small smile.
Atticus waved at his sister as she got out of the car, "I'll pick you up later. just text me what time." eden nodded as she closed the car door. she looked over to the dojo's door to see many new faces she didnt see before.
