The page crinkles as I turn it over.
After finding the first page blank,
I turn over again.
Dear Bastard.
Here's a warning for you,
Reading anyone's diary is a crime.
But reading MY DIARY, is a sin.
So please, Stop yourself from doing so.
A smile coats my face after reading the words, and I turn over the page again.
Why do the reality always hits me so late?
I'm going to give a last try to convince mummy tomorrow. Papa won't get it at all.
If she doesn't understand still,
I will..
I don't know. But I can't let this happen atleast.
It's soo frustrating!!!
I can feel the frustration by the pressure there's been applied to write the last word.
I smile again, excitedly flipping the next page.
So today, I finally found a way out of it.
Not permanently, but enough for now.
Oh yeah.
Amidst finding a way out of it,
I found someone.
Too familiar.
Too known.
Yet,
Too strange.
Though, the calmness in his eyes were the same as forever.
Though, I don't know about what I'm doing or about to do now.
I know one thing.
I am also found.
Chaos found me.
"Mummy...." I cry again.
"That's too immature of you, Dia! You're acting as if you didn't know about it! You were even normal till yesterday, what suddenly happened today?!" She hisses before again looking all around to make sure no one heard my 'immaturity'.
"Sorry mummy....1 saal aur dedoo..." She again cuts my plea with her fed up glare.
"Look at yourself! Do you think you sound anywhere like a bride?" She complaines fixing my veil that I again dropped right away.
"How can you even expect a 23 year old to sound like a bride?" I turn my chair from facing the mirror to towards my mother beside me.
"Then just spare me a week atleast! I have my birthday soon and once I turn 24, I'll even act like a bride! Mummy pleaseeee...." I held her both hands and she gasped again looking around so that no one heard me as if the door to my room isn't locked.
"You were informed about the dates from last two months, you could protest then if you had to, What's wrong with you now on the wedding day?! Nothing can happen now. There's no way." She said firmly after letting my hands off hers.
Is it my fault that you all have planned it for two times previously too and somehow, be it the inauspicious date or the groom's grand father dying, You postponed the marriage and I was expecting something similar this time too but only realised it's real today?!
