The Accidental Cupid II

A few months later, Alex, Riley, and Olivia were all seniors in high school. They were inseparable, spending most of their time together. However, as graduation day approached, the reality of their impending separation began to sink in.

One evening, as they were sitting on the park bench, talking about their plans for the future, Olivia broke the silence. "I'm thinking about applying to college in New York," she said. "I've always wanted to live there."

Alex's heart sank. He had been hoping that they would go to the same college. "But what about us?" he asked.

"We'll figure it out," Olivia said. "We're not going anywhere."

Riley nodded. "I'm sure we'll find a way to stay connected."

As the days turned into weeks, the countdown to graduation began. The senior prom was a magical night, filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories. Alex and Olivia danced the night away, their hearts filled with love and joy.

On graduation day, the three friends stood on the stage, their diplomas in hand. As they tossed their caps into the air, they couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness. They were embarking on a new chapter in their lives, but they knew that their friendship would always be a constant.

A few months later, Alex, Riley, and Olivia were all attending different colleges. Alex had chosen a university in California, while Riley had gone to a school in Texas. Olivia, true to her word, had moved to New York City.
Despite the distance, the three friends remained close. They would talk on the phone for hours, share stories, and laugh together. They even managed to visit each other a few times a year.

One summer, Alex decided to surprise Olivia. He flew to New York City and showed up at her apartment door. Olivia was overjoyed to see him. They spent the week exploring the city together, just like old times.

As they sat on a park bench in Central Park, watching the sunset, Alex turned to Olivia. "I love you more than anything in the world," he said. "Will you marry me?"

Olivia's eyes filled with tears. "Yes," she replied, her voice trembling.

Alex slid a ring onto her finger, and they kissed. As they watched the sun disappear below the horizon, they knew that their love story was far from over.
