"You're late."

"No shit," I respond as I walk into the classroom. I'm about half an hour late for sixth period, but I really don't care. My teacher just looks at me and resumes teaching. I plop down into my seat. "She was probably fucking some guy in the bathroom," I hear a bitch with pink hair whisper. "Yeah. She's such a desperate slut," her friend, a pretty-in-a-forgettable-way blonde, whispers back. I roll my eyes. Whatever, I think. Soon enough I won't have to deal with those bitches anymore. I plug my earbuds into my ear and turn the music all the way up. The rest of the world drowns out as I close my eyes and listen.

My phone suddenly buzzes. I look at the message that appears. Only two people have this number, and my face lights up when I see the message.

Panda - tonight?

I text him back.

[Name] - tonight's perfect

As soon as I get home, I run straight to my room. I'm home alone - not that anyone pays attention to me when they're home anyways - and I smile to myself. Today's the perfect day. Nobody will be around for hours. I can leave and never come back. I check my bag again. New phone, charged portable charger, normal charger, backup headphones, sketchbook, pens, pencils, clothes, laptop, some food, a water bottle, and tampons. And, most importantly, cigarettes. Yep. All packed. I text him.

[Name] - you ready?

He replies back instantly.

Panda - ready when you are

I walk outside. I take a bus to a secluded area, and bang on the door of an old run-down garage. "What the fuck do you want bitch?" A sliver haired man asks, walking outside. I cut to the chase. "Is my car ready?" He nods. "Yep. Tanks full, just like you asked, and nobody knows a thing. Now, my payment?" The man asks, holding out his hand. I grin. "Hidan, after all we've been through, you still want money?" He grins back. "Gotta earn a living somehow. And you're too young to pay me in... other ways." I grin at him and grab the keys. "Stay frosty, my friend." He nods at me. "There's also a case of beer, some vodka, and a pack of condoms in the trunk. Ya know, just in case you and that boyfriend of yours feel... frisky." I flip him off, and he winks and blows me a kiss. I climb into the driver's seat and take off.

[Name] - I'm outside now. Hurry up

Panda - coming, love

My heart flutters at the nickname, even though I don't show it. I have a reputation to uphold after all. I see a figure come out of the house, and instantly recognize the red hair of my boyfriend. "Gaara! Get in!" I tell him. He does what he's told, and we speed off. After a while of driving in silence, he turns to look at me. "I can't believe it! We're actually doing this!" He exclaims. I look at him. His hair blowing in the wind from the open window, his rosy cheeks, the excited look on his face... he looks happy. I understand how he feels.

There are a lot of things that drew me and Gaara to each other. Both of us are the youngest in our families. Both of us, no matter what we accomplish, are ever as good as our siblings. But most importantly, both of us, are the black sheep. We're outcasts. One day, we got sick of people talking shit. One day we got sick of the place we lived in. We decided to run away. I managed to save up the money to buy an old classic convertible from a mechanic named Hidan that my brother knew in high school. Hidan agreed to help me and bought me a phone for me to use in secret. To help him keep in touch with me, and to help me and Gaara plan better. Plus, a phone nobody knows exists is a lot harder to track.

My phone buzzes. Given that nobody except Gaara and Hidan has this number, I am assuming Hidan is texting me. I pull into a gas station to read the text.
