Being an angel is so easy. Well, being a cherub anyway. All the heavy lifting is meant for the angels, mostly the Archangels and the powers. They go and fight and defend and whatnot.

Cherubim is getting to do nothing with no worries, and the only thing you have to do is preach the word. I already do that, so I get to sit around a chill for eons.

Recently, I have been tasked with watching over an angel who is the Aesthetics Of Hate and who was previously the judge of hell. I had to go down there and just keep them company and make sure they stayed on task because apparently, they battled a robot and lost. No shame, but now they just think they're incompetent. Easy.

As the light above me guided me to where I needed to go, I flew above the broken and destroyed city. I mostly feel pity for them. All they needed to do was just let the Lord love them, and they would be in a better place. Anyway, It led me to a church. In hell? It's weird, but maybe it was meant to teach sinners a better way and to let God be a part of their lives. Yeah... Maybe.

The light faded, and that signaled that I was where I needed to be and I stood in front of the now looming and ominous building. I was now starting to feel off, but I mumbled the Lord's prayer to protect me as I entered.

It was now awfully quiet, and the same feeling got worse. And I began to pray louder. Letting whatever was in here know that I am protected. Plus the angel that's here is probably one of the Archangels. They'll protect me. Right?

I have now reached the chapel; everything is tinted red, my white glow illuminating myself, and I was practically announcing myself: "I HAVE ARRIVED, BITCHE-" I giggled at my thoughts but stopped when I looked to the front, a beautiful song was being played, where the piano was.

The angel was there, playing gracefully. It was nice, and it was very fitting for a church. It didn't seem like they noticed me yet. And from where I was it looked like they had armor on. So they do fight.

I don't think they heard me come in, due to the loudness of the grand piano. So I slowly make my way to them. "Hello?" I tried to announce myself but to no avail. "Hello!" Once I was close enough to see my light reflecting on their armor. They finally turned around, but not in the way I was expecting.

They jumped up, unsheathed one out of the two swords they had, and pointed it inches away from my throat. I was not phased. I knew that someone who fought a lot would go into fight mode when startled, so I paid no mind to it. They saw me, and for a moment, they paused, assumingly sizing me up.

Speaking of, I wore a modest turtle neck dress. The sleeves dangled lowly but didn't cover my hands, as there were holes. The shoulders were uncovered and started at the bicep. There was something of a fish net where my chest was but it only went from my collarbone to my neck. There was a small flap that started at my bust went down to my ribcage, and went over my arms as well.

The bottom of the dress was long and flowy, it moved as if there was wind blowing, even though I was inside. To top it off, just for aesthetic, there was gold lace on the end of every hem. I had my hair down that day and it also floated like my dress. Three of my wings were displayed behind me, and one was tucked away.

And just because I liked them, curved bull horns on the top of my head. I don't think the other Charubs wouldn't approve of this arguing, "ThIs iSn't wHaT ChArUbS wEaR!" But cherubs don't wear anything, and I just like wearing clothes to look cute. Not that I minded just walking around naked, I just wanted to look nice.
