"Taehyung, you don’t have to do it," I said as he was tying my shoelaces, even though I had been saying that I could do it myself. He was stubbornly tying them.

"Why not?" he asked, finishing the knot and glancing up at me with a small smile etched on his plump lips, making my heart race.

"You really don’t have to," I smiled, and he stood up, facing me. He quickly snuck a peck before mumbling against my lips.

"I can do whatever I want, and you can't stop me, chubs." As he pulled back, we began walking toward the library.

We had almost completed the assignment Mr. Kim had given us. Taehyung taught me everything with precision, his eyes always sparkling when he explained things about business, marketing, and investment. His love for entrepreneurship made me admire his proficiency even more. He worked hard, always determined, without any distractions, which motivated me to do better in my own field too.

He grasped my hand without any hesitation — hesitation wasn’t even in his vocabulary. He would touch, grasp, and even bite — oh God, he’s been a true menace these days.

But it was all about affection. It all came from love. Love — a word I was once unfamiliar with. I wouldn’t say our love was perfect, but it was more than enough. Or, rather, his love was perfect.

He gives his best efforts, even though I know I don’t deserve much. I’m grateful that he’s here with me, in every moment we share.

"Where are you lost, chubs? Take me there with you," he chuckled as we sat beside each other in a quiet corner of the library — quiet? The librarian wasn’t there, and the place was almost empty. Where is everyone? I wondered, but quickly gave him my full attention as he kept staring at me, his head tilted in amusement.

"I'm not lost anywhere, you know," I said, finishing the last two pages of our assignment. He leaned over the table, but his eyes were fixed on my face.

Okay, now that’s making my heart flutter like crazy.

As soon as I completed the papers, thanks to my fast writing, I turned my head, only to have my lips pressed against his plump ones.
