TWO DAYS LATER 4:35pm
I just want to continue feeling this way for the rest of my life. I gazed at her as she smiled and talked with her friend, deeply engaged in an interesting conversation.
I smiled and moved toward her, cupping her soft, fluffy waist in my rough palm, which immediately got her attention as she flinched and glanced at me. I smiled at her. "Hey," I said softly. I don't know where this softness came from.
Her pretty, bright brown eyes sparkled as her lips curved into a smile. I grasped her hand, which was warm against my cold, stoic fingers. A strange tingle rose in my chest.
"Hey, when did you get here?" she asked, happy and bubbly.
"Just finished my last class. Want to grab something to eat?" I asked, my eyes deeply staring into hers, enjoying the way she shyly looked away at my smallest glance or touch. Her hand still shivered at the sensation of my touch.
"Yeah." She turned to her friend, taking her attention away from me, and said, "Bye, Sera. Let's meet tomorrow." She hugged her.
"Bye, girly! Bye, Taehyung!" her friend said, waving as I acknowledged her with a nod and smile.
"So?" I said as her cheeks flushed a deep crimson.
"So?" she repeated.
"Let's go, chubs. What do you want to eat, baby?" I muttered while wrapping my arm around her shoulders, pulling her body closer to mine.
"Whatever you say. Actually, since I came here, I haven't eaten anything special," she grumbled, leaning against my body, her eyes glittering as she stared up at me. The vulnerability and sadness in them clenched my heart.
