-Narrator's POV-
Carrie and her husband Mike were walking through the park, holding hands and enjoying the scenery around them. They were listening and watching the little kids laugh and play which made both, Carrie and Mike smile. "I can't wait to have our own kids someday." Carrie smiled and looked up at Mike. "Same here." Mike smiled back and continued walking. "I have to use the restroom, mind if we stop at the cafe over there?" Mike asked, pointing over to the small cafe across the street. "No, not at all. I'm actually quit thirsty." Carrie giggled as they walked across the street and walked into the cafe. "I'm be right back." Mike pecked his wife's lips and walked to the back to use the restroom. Carrie sat down at a table, watching out the window when someone caught her eye. "No, it can't be." She whispered to herself and closed her eyes, hoping when she opens them the man will be gone and she was just hallucinating. When she opened her eyes, he was still there, staring in the window at the beautiful blonde. He soon walked in and smiled at Carrie. "Oh my gosh, Carrie. Is that you?" He said excitedly. "It sure is." She faked smiled, remembering everything that happened between them. "What brings you here, Brad?" She asks, still faking a smile. "Oh, I was asked to host the CMA Awards in November, so I decided to come down early and meet everyone and get to know my co-host." He smiled proudly. Carrie was also asked to host the CMA Awards. She great fully accepted but she didn't know her co-host would be Brad. "I'm your co-host." She smiled. "Really? That's amazing. Looks like we'll be spending a lot of time together." Brad also smiled. "Yeah." She said, just as Mike walked over. "Brad, this is Mike, my husband." Carrie said, standing up. "Nice to meet you Mike. I'm Brad, Carrie's co-host for the CMA's." Brad smiled at Mike as he stood up as well and shook Mike's hand. "Well I better get going, it was nice catching up with you Care." He smiled at her. "Yeah, you too." She said and sat back down as he walked out. "Mike, I'll be right back." She said as Mike sat down. "Alright honey." He nodded and Carrie ran out of the cafe to catch up to Brad. "Brad, wait." She caught up to him and saw that he had tears in his eyes. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked him, clearly seeing he was hurt. "Oh nothing, I'm fine." He said but she could tell he was lying. "Brad, I know you're lying to me. What's wrong?" She sat down on a bench and Brad sat down next to her. "I just, I, I don't know. I thought if I came here, you'd take me back," He said as a tear rolled down his cheek. "but you're married. I still love you, Carrie." He finished and she didn't know what to say. She moved on. Carrie would be lying if she said she didn't still love Brad. She just can't ruin her marriage with Mike. She love's him too much. "Brad.." She started but he cut her off. "Don't say anything, I'm just gonna go." He said, standing up. "Here's my number." She said, handing him a piece of paper with her number written on it. "So we can discuss the monologue for the CMA's." She said and walked back into the cafe with Mike. "Is everything okay?" Mike asked as she sat back down. "Yeah, everything's great." She lied and faked a smile.
