Breakfast was silent, Isabella was just picking at her food, Charlie too picking at his own as Cora was upstairs, getting ready for work.

She was also aware of the horrors that had taken place and needed to get her mind off of it, therefore she was heading  to work. Maybe she will work a double shift as well.

How could someone do that to a child? A innocent soul? She thought to herself as her eyes welled up again. She lost count on how many times she's cried and how many times that she nearly did. She did not know that people could be so cruel, this was the first time that something as fucked up as this has happened right in the small town.

Forks was a place where many crimes didn't happen unless you count hikers getting clapped by bears or wolves.

But this? No, this was completely new.

Cora's had very few relationships, never had any kids sadly but fuck, she's always wanted to have some of her own.

How could a so called mother allow this to happen? What did she gain that was so much more important that the damn fourteen year old daugher she had? She is a digusting person and Cora hopes and prays that she gets exactly what her ass deserves along with those three men.

She's heard of only some of Rue injuries, unable to stomach anymore. Those men took so much from Rue and without any sort of remorse. She was sure that they'd heard her screams of pain, her begging them to stop yet they didn't.

God, she hopes that they all have painful deaths.

Meanwhile Bella pushes her food away from her, jaw clenched. "God, I feel like such a bitch!" She suddenly exclaims as her father blinks in surprise and worry. "Bell-," before he could finish whatever he was about to say, she cut him off. "No, dad." She sighs out as she gazes up at the male with teary eyes, his heart breaking into pieces at the sight. He's now wishing that he kept his mouth shut, he'd thrown too much at Isabella. "Here I am, losing it over a fucking breakup- over someone who was shit- and a 14 year old is in the hospital due to some actual life changing stuff." She continues as she lets out a low bitter laugh, shaking her head. "I need to get myself together." She adds softly as a tear fell down her cheek.

She couldn't believe how down she was feeling and all because of a breakup. She hadn't even been with Edward that long, she felt sick to her stomach.

What kind of human being she was. Yes, a breakup hurts but fuck, she was very sure that her ass was going into a deep as fuck depression that she would have been in for months.

Edward wasn't even all of that for her to be going off the deep end. Alot of people are going through much worse things in their lives than some little breakup and the more she thinks about, the more she feels horrible. It could have been much worse.

She could've actually gotten badly hurt in the woods where Edward left her but she was unharmed, which was lucky in her opinion. She's clumsy person, what if she fell to her death? Or what if some vampire came along and think she's the perfect snack? Why couldn't others be as lucky in their lives?

Why couldn't this little girl have gotten lucky? She didn't deserve this and God, Isabella was going to do her best to be there for her. She may be awkward as fuck and as interesting and paint drying but that didn't matter. All that mattered is that she wants to try, she wants to be there for the kid and that she wants to her get better. And while she's at it, she will better herself.

That's a promise. To her dad, to Rue and to herself.

She misses the way her father's lips had twitched upwards at her words, seeing the fire and determination whirling in her eyes.

"I'm happy to hear that, Bella." He says softly to the teen whose eyes shifts onto the male, giving him a soft smile.

How was she so blind to see how fucking good she has it? She might not have the best mom but she was okay and she has the best father in the world. It was time for her to stop taking things and people for granted, Charlie being one of them.

The main one actually.

She rarely gave him a chance, her mom to blame for part of it while the rest of the blame was sorely on Bella and she's taking accountability for it.

"Yeah," she mumbles. "Me too," she adds softly. She needed to change up some of her things. Change up her room, she was going to be starting over and she wasn't sure if she wanted to wait inorder to do so. "I'll be out for most of the day, I think I'm going to redecorate my room," Bella tells her father who arches a brow but nods his head.

"Need some extra money?" He asks her and the teen pursed her lips. Does she need extra money? Well, she was going to redecorate her entire room, probably get a new bed and maybe some a couple new pieces of clothing.

She has a good amount of money saved up but she just may need extra money. "Yes please," she says softly, smiling as she see's the male's eyes lit up slightly.

But it also made her heart ache in her chest painfully. When was the last time she asked him for anything? Anything at all? She probably made him feel useless, she never came to him for anything, she never really spoke to him neither. Even when she could have asked Charlie for something, Edward would suddenly just have it for her. She made her father feel as if he wasn't a father, as if he was not good enough to come too for anything at all. The way his eyes lit up just because she said yes to needing extra money was heartbreaking honestly.

He's always been there for her, always wnating to help in some way and she's never let him.

Until now.

It'll take her a moment to get used to this but she didn't mind.

"Alright," Charlie says softly as he digs in his pocket for his wallet. The man wore his normal attire, jeans and plaid button up shirt. He had taken the day off, well more like the week as last night had take a toll on the male. And the others at the station agreed since it was Charlie who had found the teen.

And they knew that he didn't find her in the way that he had walked out with her neither.

He deserved some time off, has deserved it for a good while.
