the morning after that, minho and chan woke up side by side.
the older woke up first, cradling the younger in his arms as if he were a baby. "min, wake up.."
minho whined as he squirmed around, eyes slowly opening with an annoyed grumble.
"goodmorning sleepy head."
"g'morning..."
"get up, let's go make breakfast together." chan said, as he picked minho up bridal style; laughing at the barely coherent protests the male murmured.
he walked into the kitchen with the younger cradled in his arms, before he placed him onto a counter.
"do you want a strawberry?" the older asked, opening the fridge.
"mhm," minho hummed. "please."
chan laughed softly as he pulled out a carton of strawberries, placing it beside minho as he took one out, washing it before handing it to the tired boy.
minho smiled as he took it, taking a bite as his eyes lit up at the sweetness. "this— this is the best strawberry i've ever had."
the older smiled softly, staring at the younger with a loving gaze.

"-an, chan! channie!" minho called, waving his free hand in front of the elder's eyes.
chan finally snapped out of his daze, clearing his throat as his ears heated up. "o-oh, yeah baby?"
the younger giggled, eating the rest of the strawberry before smiling softly. "lixie wants to go out later, is that okay?"
"oh," chan murmured, slightly disappointed that the male was planning on leaving. "yeah of course baby, that's okay."
