Freya was the type of girl who respects others. But if you get on her nerves, she can't be tamed. However, I believe that there's still a fire inside of her that hasn't been ignited yet. I could feel there's love and care in her actions. Like when she helped me from those rapists and asked if I was okay. She brought me to the mansion, escaping from her own father, risking it all for a stranger. I guess I should try giving my trust to her and Damien.

All these thoughts were spread in my mind as I closed my eyes, ready to sleep. The night went smoothly until I started feeling a terrible belly pain. I woke up and drank some water found on the nightstand. But it still wouldn't calm down. I then realised it was that time of the month! Oh shit! I didn't bring any sanitary pads! There must be some in this room. I searched every drawer but in vain.

I had no choice but to wake up Freya. My brain was not braining. I opened her door and saw her sleeping like a peaceful angel. I didn't want to wake her up. So, I returned back to my room and went in the bathroom. I was feeling nauseous and the stomach ache was unbearable. I needed help but couldn't call for her. I gathered my courage and walked down the stairs. I opened the drawers in the kitchen but didn't find any.

"Why didn't the maids stock up some tampons!" I whined in pain.

I walked out of the kitchen but stumbled with a chair and lost balance. I fell down with a loud thud. I groaned in pain.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming downstairs. I tried standing up but badly needed support. Then, I looked up and saw Freya looking down at me. "Just come into my room next time." She said, lifting me up into her arms. My hands went behind her neck and she carried me upstairs, bridal style.

She went in her room and made me sit on a chair by the study table. She opened her drawer and got some sanitary pads, "Here, go change. I'll get you some warm water." She handed me the pads and I rushed into her washroom.

What a relief!

When I came out with a towel wrapped around my body, I didn't find her. So, I was about to exit her room but she appeared in front of me with a glass of boiled water.

"Sit on the bed." She ordered.
Without any argument, I went back in her room and sat on the edge of her bed.

"Drink this." She handed me the glass of water and I drank it slowly, observing her actions. She opened her wardrobe and got a white hoodie and pants. She walked towards me then she placed the clothes on the bed. "Where do you keep your underwear?"

I almost choked on my water. "What?" My eyes widened.

"Don't bother. She walked towards her suitcase and got new underwear. "Here, go put some clothes before I get you naked on the bed." I quickly grabbed the clothes and ran inside the bathroom to change.

After a few minutes, I got out, wearing her clothes and I had to admit it smelled so nice. They were so comfy as well. I could stay in that for a whole week!

"Thank you." I said.

She was on her phone, typing something. When she was done, she turned around and looked at me. "Next time, don't hesitate to wake me up." She said.

"I might as well not be here next time. So, thanks. Good night." I marched towards the door but she blocked my way.

"Sleep here." She said.

"What?"

"Just for tonight. You might need warmth."

"...I'll be fine. Thanks."

I walked past her and closed the door of my room once I was inside. I sat on my bed and wished to sleep with her. I would've felt warmer for sure. But what if my feelings deepened for her? I cannot allow myself to fall for her. Although she's trying to impress me, I cannot be impressed. I gotta leave ASAP.

.....

It was 7 a.m and I was obliged to wake up due to the terrible belly pain. I did my morning routine and wore the same hoodie she gave me last night with a black sweatpants. I brushed my hair and let it loose. Once done, I got out of the room and went downstairs. I couldn't find her anywhere. I walked outside and went to the garage as I heard disruptive noises coming from there.

I opened the wooden door and the sight in front of me drove me to Utopia. She was by the front bumper of a muscle car. It was a Ford Mustang I think. She had black shirt on, military green cargo pants and her hair was loose.

She was breathtaking!

She was fixing something in the engine part of the vehicle. Damn what's sexier than a girl knowing mechanics? Snap out of it Dorothea! I also wanted to learn about cars but my father never allowed me.

"Morning." She said, not looking at me.

I came back to my senses and approached her, "Hey." I observed her movements. I could see her sweating and her hands were greasy.

"Pass me the screwdriver number 6." She said.

For a moment my brain was not steady and I panicked. I searched through the tool box but I didn't even know what it looked like! I kept her waiting for probably 10 seconds. She bent down next to me and took the screwdriver. We made eye contact, then she went back to the car.

"I'm sorry, I'm not really good at this." I stood up, went next to her.

"I figured."

"Freya, I had a confession to make."

"Mmm?" She continued with her work.

"Well, remember that day when you were sick and Damien got into your room after I left?"

"mm"

"I might have heard your conversation." I started feeling scared and bit my lower lip hesitantly.

"Okay."

That's it? Okay! She doesn't care?

"Aren't you mad? That's a big mistake right?" I asked.

"Why should I be mad?" She picked up the scattered tools, wiped her hands and closed the hood of the car, checking on me all the time.

"Well, uhm...because I shouldn't have done that."

"You think it was a mistake?"

"Yeah...And I also wanted to ask about what happened in Las Vegas."

She sighed, "If I tell you, you might not trust me."

"Please Freya, I think I need to give you my trust. If you wanted me dead, you wouldn't have waited for so long to kill me. And you wouldn't have risked it to save me the other day. You wouldn't have put yourself into so much trouble after saving me from that restaurant when your father's men killed my family."

She raised her eyebrow, "So, you're saying that you believe we've saved you?"

I nodded.

"Alright then, I'll go freshen up then tell you what happened that day."

"Okay."
