By dawn, Axel had already transformed into Agito and stood at the edge of a cliff near Beacon Academy, practicing Tai Chi. The soft glow of the rising sun bathed him in golden light, highlighting the sleek, intricate details of his armor. Each movement was slow, deliberate, and graceful, as he focused on maintaining both the balance of his transformation and the fluidity of his body. The gentle breeze that swept across the cliff seemed to synchronize with his motions, aiding in his meditation. With every breath, Axel sought clarity, using the ancient practice to clear his mind and harness control over the immense power within him.
After finishing his Tai Chi practice, Axel stood still for a moment, preparing to undo his Agito transformation. But something felt off. His senses sharpened, and a sudden unease crept over him. His body tensed as he scanned his surroundings, eyes narrowing in suspicion. The once-peaceful atmosphere on the cliff now felt heavier, as though it had been disturbed by an unseen presence.
Agito: There's no point in hiding... I already know you're there, he said, his voice calm but laced with authority. He turned toward the area where the presence lingered, his gaze intense. Listen, buddy, reveal yourself willingly, or I'll make you. Your choice.
For a moment, there was silence, broken only by the faint rustle of the morning breeze. Then, stepping out from the shadows, the figure of Ozpin emerged.
Axel's posture relaxed slightly upon recognizing the headmaster. With a quiet sigh, he released the energy holding his transformation, reverting back to his normal self.
Axel: Sorry, Professor Ozpin. He apologized, his tone respectful but still cautious. But what are you doing here?
Ozpin, ever composed, took a step closer, glancing out at the horizon where the first rays of sunlight touched the academy grounds.
Ozpin: I was simply taking a walk... He began, his gaze lingering on the distant landscape. But when I noticed someone training at this early hour, I was intrigued.
He turned to look at Axel, his expression growing more serious.
Ozpin: I do recall us discussing the importance of discretion when it comes to your power, Mr. Valkyrie.
Axel, now fully calm, gave a small nod, understanding the unspoken concern behind Ozpin's words.
Axel: Oh, I am discreet. Trust me, Professor. I made sure to be extra careful on my way here—didn't want to spark an uproar in class, he said with a light smirk.
Ozpin's smile returned, though his eyes remained sharp, as if always analyzing.
Ozpin: Good... he said, his tone approving. After a brief pause, he continued. And on that note, you should be getting back. Class will be starting soon.
Axel: Got it. He nodded
As Ozpin left, Axel gathered his things and made his way back to Beacon Academy. A few hours later, it was time for combat class. Inside Beacon Academy's grand auditorium, the focus of attention was on the central stage, where Cardin Winchester stood tall and confident, his massive mace, The Executioner, resting menacingly on his shoulder. Opposite him, Jaune Arc leaned heavily on his sword, Crocea Mors, clearly exhausted and struggling to stay upright. The spotlight bathed the two combatants in harsh light, contrasting the overwhelming power difference between them.
