I woke up beside Damian. He had his arms wrapped around me. I smiled and tried to get up. He had a death grip on me. I said fuck. Damian can you please let me go? Damian said no. I laughed and said I need to go get coffee. He pulled me closer and said but you're so comfortable. I laughed and slid under the blanket. Damian said ugh, why'd you move? I got out of bed and said I have to shower. I leaned down and kissed him. He looked at his phone and said we have 3 hours til we have to leave. Come back to bed please. I said I need a  coffee. Damian said ugh! Get me a blue berry muffin. I said ok. I got dressed, put my shoes on and walked out of the room. There was a coffee shop in walking distance from the hotel. I started walking. I walked past an ally. Someone grabbed my arm and threw me against the wall. It was Jack.  He punched me in the eye and said you thought you could get rid of me that easy. He banged my head against the brick wall, lifted me up by my neck and said just because you blocked me doesn't mean I'm gone baby. I'll be seeing you around. He kissed me once and threw me on the ground. I was bleeding on my arms from falling on the gravel. I sat there and cried.

I got up and ran to the hotel. I walked in the lobby and ran to the room. I unlocked the door. Damian was watching TV. He said Blake! What happened?! I started crying. I said Jack attacked me. Damian hugged me and said what'd he say? I couldn't stop crying. Damian looked at me and saw my neck. He grabbed my arm and saw it was scrapped and bleeding. Damian took me to the bathroom and grabbed a washcloth. He wet it and started wiping the blood off my arm. I said owe. Damian said I'm sorry. Next time you leave either take the car or I'm coming with you. I will fuck Jack up for touching you. I said I know. Damian said take a warm bath and I'll DoorDash coffee and food. I said thank you for taking care of me. Damian said you're welcome. He walked out of the bathroom and closed the door. I ran a bath and got in. My head was killing me. There was a knock on the door. I said come in. Damian walked in with a coffee and said there's food in the kitchen. But here's your coffee. Can I get you anything? I said some ibuprofen my head is pounding. Damian said sure. He walked out and brought me some with a water. I said thank you. Damian said you're welcome. I took them and laid back. Damian said I'm gonna leave the door open since it's just me that way I can hear if anything happens. I said okay. He walked out....
