Autumns face painted a picture of distraught, she had tears running down her rosy cheeks. She had just discovered something un imageable for a child of her age. In front of her sat a piece of purple fabric from one of her mother's dresses. Written in black marker pen read:
Autumn and Reece my dears,
"Mummy loves you"
The image of the piece of fabric can often be found haunting Autumn's thoughts. She and Reece swore they would never forgive her for abandoning them, especially leaving them with such a monster. Its true, Roger is nothing but a monster. Through out his children's childhood, they would be subjected to all kinds of abuse. He took joy out of tormenting them, particularly his son Reece. Reece was nothing but a disappointment in his eyes. On the other hand he took a slight preference to his daughter Autumn, he even had a pet name for her "mutton chops". Roger was determined to break down his kids and morph them into successful heirs of his empire of money. However he would never be successful.
Ever since Reece and Autumn's mother left, their life was even more of a horror story than before. Roger didn't have a wife to assault anymore and his kids didn't have a saviour to protect them, so being the big brother, Reece took up the role.
He was 11.
Their father was, and is, a violent man who only cares about money. This demon became even more demonic when he drank. He is a monster who has the responsibility of gifting people with life long trauma. Reece did everything to protect his siter from the devil who stalked them in their own home. Although, it was a house, never a home.
