Yuuta was nervous. So nervous he could puke. He and Toge had been friends for years at this point. They were both twelve when they had met and now they're twenty two and twenty one respectively. He was no newbie to traveling to Tokyo. He hasn't told his parents with who he was meeting up but it doesn't really matter. They will find out soon enough.

Of course while going through all that could technically hypothetically go wrong Yuuta came to the conclusion that he should arrive early. Which turned out to be half an hour in this case. Yes, Japanese trains are very punctual and never ever are late but maybe the took the wrong one and had to drive the whole train ride back in order to arrive at Tokyo.

Maybe he was blowing this out of proportion.

Toge had said that they would meet at eleven fifteen so there were only ten minutes left. Yuuta remembered that he still had to message Toge and let him know that he had arrived. Of course, Yuuta would lie about it. He didn't want to give Toge the ick.
Toge messaged him back, saying that he too would arrive soon. Saying how excited he was to finally meet Yuuta. At some point in Yuuta's life this was all he looked forward to. Meeting Togashi one day. He had quickly learned that the name 'Togashi' was just a reference to Toge's favorite mangaka.

Over the course of middle and high school they both got quite busy which is why it had taken them so long. And vacation was usually spend withe family as well. Yuuta replied with his location and saying that he too, was excited.

Yuuta went though multiple different scenarios in his head of how this could go. He had thought about how he would greet Toge and what to say. All of them were mildly cringy and gave him goosebumps in the worst way possible. Yuuta was completely caught in his thoughts when he felt something poke his back. He screeched.

"Oh my god", he mumbled after turning around. "Toge", he whispered. Yuuta's heart raced and his face grew red. "Warn a guy! You caught me off guard." Toge only giggled. He took a step closer to him and opened his arms. Yuuta smiled anxiously. He wrapped his arms around Toge's smaller body and hugged him tightly. Yuuta smiled. He wish they could stay like this forever.
