Unfortunately, the supposedly quick buy of a specific material from a sketchy seller became a long time of bantering and frustration—nevertheless, it was interrupted by rain which led to improvising the objective; finding shelter.

"Wanderer?" You muttered beside him, stepping backwards as your shoes were getting wet from the rain—creating a puddle beneath your feet.

It was in the middle of the night, the air was thick and cold. There weren't many houses to take cover from because of the questionable structure.

"I told you that it was gonna rain, I didn't expect any less from a stubborn air head like you."

He huffed, arms crossed as he refused to look at you.

"Yeah, well.. I thought there wasn't any time left! Our project isn't even nearly finished!"

You retaliated, a light emit in the sky as thunder struck loudly causing you to flinch. Seeing it with your very own eyes truly was scary as the chances of getting hit by lightning isn't low as you're outside with no proper shelter.

There weren't any signs of the harsh rain to stop any further, sadly, this is about to be a long ride. As you shut your eyes tightly, holding onto the pillar beside you, quietly hoping that this ends.

Somebody beside you finally decided to say, "Come here." the tone of his words showed concern and annoyance. Opening your eyes to see him invite you underneath his hat.

"Are you actually inviting me.. to be under your hat with you?"

A question to assure that you are having the right idea as he was thinking.

He clicked his tongue, pulling you in by your waist to pull you close. A slight squeal leaving your lips from the sudden yank, he used his element to boost the both of you off the ground.

You lifted your legs up, seeing that you're flying with him while being quite sheltered by the rain.

"Hold on."

He warned, dashing off in the air—making you yelp from the quick speed. You clung onto him, knowing that this would be your final day of being alive.

"Wanderer.. I'm gonna fall!"

His arms around your waist were beginning to slip away. As you thought you were about to witness your death by falling from such heights, he caught you—adjusting you by carrying you in a bridal style.

He was more comfortable that way because of how smooth the way he glides in the air. You were as well, feeling more ease in the air as the rain stopped.

The view from underneath was actually.. mesmerizing, watching it from above in awe.

You've never realized the beauty that it holds, the puddles left by the rain reflected the lights with a shine. Not until, you sensed someone gazing at you as you're looking below you.

"Do you see this frequently whenever you fly?"

You curiously asked, staring at him with your arms wrapped around his neck as he continued to watch you. He was being oddly silent, to be honest, you've forgotten about your surroundings ever since you've been lifted off the ground.

The rain stopped and the breeze no longer bothered you, it felt like the time had frozen for you to admire him. If you ever recall, you've never been this close or you've never noticed his facial features.

"You're so dreamy.." You whispered, nearly silent as the wind as you're lost by his indigo eyes and the soft look on his face.

"What..?"

Your eyes widened after realizing what you've said, stuttering as you attempted to find an excuse to cover up your previous words. He looked away from you and remained quiet as he continued flying until he had reached your apartment, landing softly and letting you down gently.

"Thank you for the experience and the flight back home."

You thanked him, scratching the back of your neck as you happily grinned at him despite what happened just a while ago.

Until you noticed the little smile on his face, was he smiling or are you currently hallucinating?

"Good night, Y/N."

He stated before hoping that you will have a peaceful slumber as he used his elemental power to create an anemo shaped heart prior to disappearing. You stood there cluelessly, pondering what his actions meant.

A weird sensation appeared on your stomach as you could feel butterflies fluttering around inside, your heart beating rapidly and your cheeks heating up profusely.

A smile tugged on the corner of your lips, turning around to finally enter your house before getting interrupted.

"You have some explaining to do."

Faruzan snatched you by your wrist causing you to yelp as she dragged you inside, turning the lights on and revealing the rest of your friends who witnessed the entire thing.

Ah, you must forgotten that you invited them over for a sleepover but was caught all up with finding a way to complete the project and raining. They've been waiting the entire time for your return and prepared the night with some fun activities.

It seemed like Faruzan was involved with the decorations based on the blue themed outfits and left over ingredients to create tons of snacks for the whole group.

The wooden door was slammed shut as the girls squealed in anticipation as they surrounded you with pajamas that are nearly identical because of the color.

They also brought their very own pillows and blanket to keep them comfortable tonight, while sitting down on the ground whilst hugging their pillows tightly and with their snacks near, giggling as they intently listen to you.

Leaning as their ears were perked up out of curiosity as you're going to spill the juicy tea about your interaction with wanderer. He's always been unpredictable and everything he does leaves you questioning.

A smile crept on your face once you looked at all of them, clearing your throat as you began to speak.

"It all happened when.."
