The day of the attack.

Miles pov:

("I didn't know this he would use one of his tricks on me..")

I was guarding the labs, like usual. Scientists walked by, talking about their latest experiments, yeah, yeah all that stuff. I looked at the clock on the wall. It was 9:20, few minutes before my break. I decided to walk around the labs since I was bored.

Walking around the labs was nice when there was no screaming or anything. Like this place was finally at peace.

As I was wandering around the labs I suddenly heard a cry for help. I got startled by the sudden screaming. I ran to where the screaming was, but.. no one was there. "Hello?" I yelled, confused. "Anyone there?" I replied.

("Why didn't I notice him..")

I decided to walk around to check if anyone was there. Suddenly a claw came, launching at me. I backed away. "Holy fuck.." I whispered. He got out again. I needed to press the emergency button. The problem is that it's in the over side of the room. I didn't know what to do. I grabbed my taser and pointed at him and yelled "DONT MOVE A MUSCLE YOU BASTARD!". What i didn't expect was that he swung his claw at me, which made me fall down and drop my taser. The prototype kicked it away so that I couldn't grab it. Holy shit.. I was panicking, I didn't know what to do. I looked everywhere to find something to hit him so I can make a run for it. There was nothing I could use. The least I can is kick him. I suddenly kicked him in the ribs, making him shriek. I ran fast as I could.

("I was so close.. why..")

I was about to hit the emergency button but the prototype ran behind me and cut my back. I screamed in pain. "WHAT THE FUCK" I yelled. He pinned me against the wall, he cut my eye. Then he pushed me down to the floor and ripped the side of my jaws skin off. It was so fucking painful. He was literally trying to claw me open. My head was bleeding due to how hard he pushed me to the ground. I felt dizzy, my body was going limp. The last thing I saw was a scientist running towards me and the prototype. Then I blacked out.
