Julie had almost forgotten that the exam results were sill to come, but they did. To her great surprise, she passed with very good marks, coming in second best. Hermione, of couse, came top of the year. Even Neville scraped through, his good Herbology mark making up for his abysmal Potions one.

They had hoped that Goyle, who was almost as stupid as he was mean, might be thrown out, but he had passed.

And suddenly, their wardrobes were empty, their trunks were packed, Nevilles toad was found lurking in a corner of the toilets.

Notes were handed out to all students, warning them not to use magic over the holidays ("I always hope they'll forget to give us these" said Fred sadly),

Hagrid was there to take us down to the fleet of boats that sailed across the lake; we were boarding the Hogwarts Express.

"Come on, Mione!" Julie called to her best friend, turning around as she was behind her. "We need to find Harry and Ron, those gi- AHH!"

Julie suddenly bumped into someone. She rubbed her head as it ached painfully to look at the person.

"I'm so sorry.." she said, her vision kind of blurry and not being able to make everything out.

"No need to apologise." said a brown haired girl, who was smiling at her. Julie's seen her in some of her classes, but never got the chance to talk to her. "I'm Lilith Pierson! I think, we've got some classes together. I've been meaning to talk to you for a while now."

"Hey, I'm Julie Clarke." she said returning the smile. "I actually also wanted to talk to you. You seem very nice."

"Thanks!" Lilith answered. "I'm very sorry, but I've got to get back to my friends, Levi and Emma."

She pointed at two heads sticking out of a compartment next to them.

"It's been nice to finally talk to you, I'll send you a letter over the summer!" she finally said, giving Julie one last smile before hurrying off to her friends.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, the twins, Mason and Julie spent the whole train ride joking around and talking about everything, finally  pulling into platform nine and three-quarters at King's Cross station.

It took quite a while for us all to get off the platform. A wizened old guard was up by the ticket barrier, letting them go through the gate in twos and threes so they didn't attract attention by all bursting out of a solid wall at once and alarming the Muggles.

"You must come and stay this summer!" said Ron. "All of you - I'll send you an owl!"

"Thanks!" said Harry. "ll need something to look forward to!"

People jostled them as they moved torwards the gateaway back to the Muggle world. Some of them called:

"Bye, Julie!"

"See you, Clarke!"

"Still popular." said Ron, grinning at Julie.

"Ha-Ha." she said sending Ron a cold glare. "Hilarious, Weasley."

"There he is, Mum, there he is, look! Look, Mum! I can see-" squealed an excited Ginny Weasley. Julie and her exchanged smiles before reaching her and Mrs Weasley, who smiled down at them.

"Busy year?" she asked.

"Very." Julie said. 'Thanks again for the fudge and the jumper, Mrs Weasley!"

"Oh, it was nothing, dear"

"Ready, are you?" called a deep voice. It was a very big man, purple-faced, moustached, looking furious at the nerve of Harry, carrying an owl in a cage in a station full of ordinary people.

Behind him stood a skinny woman and a huge boy, looking terrified at the very sight of Harry.

"H-hi." he said as he looked at Julie.

"Hey?" she answered, making sure to sound extra annoyed.

"Don't talk to them!" snapped the woman next to him.

Julie figured it out right away. It was Harry's cousin, Dudley. She turned to Harry and raised an eyebrow. "Well, if it isn't your lovely family," she said, smirking at him.

Harry shot her a mischievous look and whispered, "I'm going to tell them that you're my girlfriend."

Julie blinked at him, pretending to look shocked. "Careful there, Harry," she warned, trying to suppress a laugh. "Wouldn't want to embarrass yourself in front of your family, would you?"

"Hurry up, boy, we haven't got all day!"

"Don't miss me too much, Jules" he said, smirking, before hurrying off after his uncle.

"Unbelievable..." Julie muttered quietly to myself.

She said goodbye to her two other best friends and the Weasley's before tackling her mum and dad into a tight hug together with Mason as they finally spotted them.

What a great year she had.
