Sabrina's point of view

"I'm right here" I said walking to them. Isadora ran to me and hugged me. "OMG, I thought something had happened to you. I already called in your research for you." She says in tears.

"I'm so sorry I made you so worried. I must have overslept on the couch last night. Thank you, for helping me." I say smiling and make all drive their intension to him instead. Good.

"I'm coming. Let me go brush my teeth. Miransia follows me.

They didn't even hear me talking. Isadora looking at Dave in disbelief, Scott looking confused. I go to the bathroom straight before they talk to me.

Scott's point of view.

"He might just want to be nice just once. I mean Scott talked to him yesterday" Milla says, feeling the tension in the room.

"Dave, explain yourself." Mother says.

"There is nothing to explain, mother. She told you what happened already. I was just being nice like you want me to. I need to go to work." He says walking away.

Being Nice?

What the hell is he up to?

"You mean, he knew where she was this whole time. You do realize Dave's been here, right?" Isabelle stated.

Sabrina's point of view

I called the girls and explained everything to them. They decided they will leave school to come to me.

They came. We played video games and studied afterward. We have finals coming.

—---------------------------------------------------

The rest of the week flew by....

Today is already Sunday. My favorite day of the week. It's the day I do my full skincare. I also do a movie night alone. I love my alone time.

It was 12: 57 when I was done with my selfcare routine. Now it's 1:05 AM, I'm preparing for my movie time.

I get downstairs and turn on the lights. I can't make a lot of noise because people are sleeping. I go straight to the kitchen to cook myself something.

There is a good smell that slaps me in the face before I even get to the kitchen. Dave is cooking. Damn he looks hot. His hair is brushed to the back, probably not to bother him. I can see his hand vein. He definitely worked out. He's listening to Britney Spear, the oh I did it again song. That makes me smile a bit. This is so not him. This is another side of Dave.

Get yourself together Sabrina. This is Dave, Dave the jerk.

He's so focused, he does not even realize my presence.

"Checking me out." He says, turning his glaze slightly to me. He starts laughing. I take back what I said earlier.

I walk past him, ignoring his presence. I make myself a fruit bowl. If he wasn't a jerk I would ask him for some food. I fight not to look at the food he's making.

I sit on the couch, and past my hand where the remote usually is. Oddly it's not there. What?

I see Dave walking with two bowls and the remote in his hands. NO.

He lends me one of the bowls, I take it with a shocked face.

He turns on the TV and puts on the loud house movie. That is exactly what I was going to watch.

I started eating and I caught him staring at me right after that. This food is delicious! From the way he's staring I can tell he wants to know what I think of it. That reminds me of Miranda. She used to make me rate her food.

"It's delicious, I really like it." I say honestly. We both smiled, it wasn't a happy smile. It was a sad one. A smile that didn't reach our eyes.

"You okay." He asked.

"I'm fine. Just a memory of when Miranda was around."

"Sorry." He says and means it. Something is wrong with him. He looks almost depressed.

"It's okay. You know If there is anything wrong you can talk to me. I know how we act towards each other. It's only because you really get on my nerves, I don't know if you are doing it on purpose. I just won't stand there not doing anything. I don't hate you, so if you need anything I would gladly help." I said to him kindly. I mean all of what I said. He is human as I am, and he has his own problems in life. Besides, Milla told me he works in crime solving. It might work. He looks at me surprised by my words.

"Thanks for your concern. Really appreciate it." He answers and keeps watching the TV. Well at least I tried.
